So no patch again?

Every week I say to my guildies "Big Patch this week" and every week they say "You say that every week Ebi" to which I respond "One day I will be right and you'll be impressed."

So what gives, no patch, can we get one, hell nerf me I don't care! Though the wardens are starting to forget what happened. Give us something new and cool people are doing that thing where they stop playing till new content comes. Level 70 elites or something. I don't want to wake up tomorrow and see wardens say "It's been over a month and still no fix"

Its like watching SpongeBob where the French guy says "Four months later", you can't tell me the warden patch was the big 3 month patch. K I think I'm done. Maybe its cause we got two instances and zones last chapter. This time we got "Here are Warlocks with their broken psi system" and of course the new zone with half the XP of TB and only took 2 hours.

Are they even Working on a chapter 6? Or is this slow release of content a way to milk everyone. After all that LvL 72 stating you all do, they will release 75.

My wife loved the warden and played it for the tank aspect. Since the patch i told her to hang on after every week. No patch for her. Since she has quit playing the warden and will not return to warden. She has gone to Priest now and said that every class she plays they nerf. Lets see if they nerf P/S now, lol.

Is there anything new about that??? Is this not what the model is??? To bring out higher level stuff so that everyone spends cash again to re-gear?

The new cycle should begin somewhere around October correct? Every 3 to 6 months they release some regurgitated code with some different skins and up the numbers slightly on stats/gear. So all the cool kids have to rush to their credit cards to stay Cool.

Nothing Runewaker is doing makes sense, I guess I missed the 200 threads that said "Nerf warden". It was like Chapter 4, they said "Class fixes" so they penalized Group Heal, and reduced Knights aggro, then they said "There is more to come for priest and knight!" and here we are... I love to troll P/S, but here is the reality of RoM, for a game that was made popular by diverse class combos, We are down to only a few Viable combos.

Take my r/p, not one elite has anything to do with healing. Elites should reflect upon your secondary class. They did this well with p/w, but failed to scale skills. If they want the game to grow they need diversity, make a butterfly raid more then p/s and r/s. I want to see r/wl, ch/m ECT...

Chapter 1 we were all really on a level playing field, but with all the combos it sure seems like I see the same 4-5 class combos running around.

I guess my message is Elevate other class combos by changing elites, leave general and primary skills be, for instance if you want R/S to have a reality check the reduce CM to 40% damage, if you were to Nerf dagger mastery you would hurt every other rogue, just cause of one class combo.

Can we reconcile the "omg, wardens are nerfed so bad nobody wants to play them anymore" threads with "woah, wardens are the new scouts with the new one-skill spammable high damage skill" threads? Or are the only wardens that matter the tanky ones?
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Would love to see a fix for my M/R's Kiss of the Vampire, because at lv 50, it ticks for only 600 damage, while all my other dots at 55 can tick for 6k :( Granted, their 5 levels higher, but seriously... -_-

I rarely see DPS wardens though. Most of the wardens that I see are tanks, and they probably don't appreciate having entire skills broken and having to spend 300 dollars regearing. And you don't have to be a warden to be in a run unlike back with scouts. So while you can make those threads, its hard to see how wardens can be happy.

And why would you do that ;)

Don't get me wrong, I say to myself the same as a wishful expression, not as a fact statement unless i have more information. And that is my point, we simply told you already all we can at this point. The patch with the warden fix is in the works. The first version did not make it through QA. Now of course we all (including myself) want to see this patch happen sooner than later, but we all (including me) need to wait until new information is available and until this patch does what we want it to do, and without telling you too much, you would not have wanted the first version of this patch to go on the servers.

Until then I am afraid I can only sound like a broken record and repeat "The patch is in the works, we wanted it sooner but it did not happen, so now please wait until we have further information". We do not do that to make you mad, although I duly note that it does. And again broken record: Please give us the time needed to make this patch right together with Runewaker.

Hey Dio, im just creating the narrative here, I don't want us to turn into the EU forums which have become a ghost town. I know many will disagree with me but the game is at the point people are logging off cause the content released was very little compared to many other previous patches and chapters. My first trip into AC was a roflstomp that left me saying "That's it" not to mention I didn't want all the str/dex stats that dropped. Heck Krolin was the best thing in the new chapter, believe it or not it brought the server closer together. But we all know what happened to that.

In addition I know 75 is coming, most likely in November. I'm not gonna jump all over 72 stats to regear in 4 months. I'm not the OMG need it all now here is $1k player. Most of us are not, But honestly most of us have this anti climatic feeling. I know you have to stagger it, I get that. Meh anyway im sure most don't agree with me and that's cool. I'll just keep sieging, I just hate seeing people I know say "I'll come back when new stuff is out" and they don't say it with disdain, they say it cause not a heck of alot was initially released. My two cents.

Is that the new way to play warden then mate? spam one skill like a challenged p/s? tanking is where warden/warriors excelled above all other aspects. they were without a doubt supreme as a tank imo. could have used a little more defense imo. but is what it is. as far as other wrd builds, when i play my wrd/s its kinda fun, but not. i liked wardens from day one. i have a few alts but they never get the attention my main has. how bout i just agree pink hat. lets just drop it and let wardens go the way of scouts and knights after the mighty shaft patch when they were told, more balance changes are coming for them......? they will let it go. wardens, get used to the way it works, move on, this is what we have to work with. I am. I have been here long enough, as have you pink hat. and the other type of thread your talking about already exists. a warden calling for a nerf to charged chop.

i am not at all stunned that the patch hasnt made it through a rework and sent back yet. its in some overworked underpaid coders inbox. where it will stay for oh, i dont know, my money is on at least a year. anyone want in on this pool?

Maybe hes doing it because we were promised a w/wd fix, and havent gotten one...

I understand you are working on it, but we are frustrated.

Duly noted, regentego, and personally I am very excited for some of the stuff to come I already heard about. Chapter 6 was already announced too, so we are here to stay. We came long ways and I do not think all is just black and white, there is a lot of grey involved here too and colors ^^. Not to mention that this game has one of the best communities I have ever experienced.

Now that warden fix is needed, I agree on that. But we need it in a good way, not a "oh hell what were you thinking" way.

I totally understand how this can make some players despair with the content or their class, but (@slaphappy03) priest is a great class too and well needed ;)

Hang in there, the patch is not out of the loop, neither is Chapter 6, and I am more then happy to collect any constructive feedback and suggestions and pass them along.

As for the fix we all want to see, please be patient. But I will forward that your patience is running thin.

So, chapter 6 already being worked on? Talking about chapter 6 at this point is odd, and a bit confusing, since we've supposedly got major changes & features in chapter 5 that are not currently in place.

By which I am referring to the following:

Planned Future Additions to Chapter V:

Level cap of 77
Additional action bars in the interface
New guild buildings and skins
World Bosses adjusted and connected to the crafting system
New elite skills for all classes
New dungeons
New areas
Three new battlegrounds
Introduction of a guild instance
Improvements to the profession system

And lets not forget the 90% damage reduction in siege battlefields that we were supposed to get when chapter 5 was initially released.

Are all these off the chapter 5 plate and on the chapter 6 plate now?

No, because Chapter V is still running ;)

I was just answering to the underlying question if there even is a Chapter 6 planned. Yes it is. But we are still on the evolution pattern for Chapter V ;)

Is Spring Flower Eulogy fix planned? >:O

I need to be pesky/annoying, since there are so few druids out there, and no other class complains about our skills (because they're not OP like Charged Chop). In fact, I can count on my fingers how many actual druids post on these forums. Its like 3 :(

Well let me pose this question to everyone.

Are you satisfied with the Current evolution of Chapter V? Are you bored, and just sieging? Are you happy at the moment? Would you like a task to perform to reach a goal?

I know that's several questions but it's feedback, Eu Forums are not currently giving anything, so honestly without flaming, where are you personally in chapter 5.

Ch6 has a release date? Awesome.

Dio, I have a few suggestions that need to go into your report, please.

1. Redesign of the Dalanis and Varanas cities in the game before Ch6 release. SOMEONE needs to get in there and find out why Dalanis in particular causes the majority of players to crash if they try to move three feet across the screen. Dalanis has been very bad in regards to crashing almost since its release, and is in increasingly desperate need of a makeover. (I suspect that a lot of the festival/event stuff alongside the high polygon count is the culprit, but then I'm not a graphic design artist or a game code expert.)

2. Please include a set skill extraction NPC that is NOT located in Dalanis. We only have one in the entire game... kinda makes no sense. Obsidian Stronghold or perhaps even the new zone would be a welcome location.

3. Dungeon Of Dalanis needs help. A lot of the guilds on our server are still farming the place for mems, and as a result of the use it's gotten (maybe?), they're getting runs where the bosses don't spawn, or die too quickly and the door to the next chamber doesn't open, the exit portal doesn't appear, the entrance portal disappears, there's no way to loot a boss after it dies... the list is getting bigger with each patch.

4. Could we please get some clarification as to what happened to the rest of the "rebalancing" that Knights were supposed to get after 4.0.3.? Is it out the window for good?

5. Where is our Recon sale? :(
In a world of black, white, and grey... I'd be bright friggin' purple. M/P on Reni.
