So, no, you cannot trade gear for Zeevex either.

You can use Zeevex to buy diamonds, through us. Any other usage is prohibited and will result in account penalty.

Quick question, has this new non-zeevex trade for gold taken into account F2P players? Since diamonds aren't tradable between players if a F2P player wanted diamonds in their account for things such as house energy or bag/bank extension or portable mail/ah/bank etc etc what are their options now?

i think that will be the diamond NPC in Varanas, for those players.

They will enable Dias NPC, so F2P still can get DIAS for personal needs.

Edit: Damn, zidlef guy was faster. I'll bit him with lowering price of ASW to 5K. :p

their intent is to rid the game of f2p players. get with the program - they are forcing ppl to put the money into the game for storage for all those cheap puri's you keep buying that don't stack.

Apparantly because of changes (and who knows what else) they will enable it on NA servers in one of next maintenance.

As Dio knows what would mean now to back up from said - I am sure it will happen, pretty soon, but not so sure if deal will be as we hope, 20K for 1 dias, 15 max for a day per account (not character, main account).

Time will tell, but I would not call this measure anti F2P yet. Give them some time.

ps. I don't like unicorns, but you can have one in game as well. :p

As long as Selling diamonds for Gold never becomes something we can get ban for this game has a future.

I really don't see what all the fuss is about, you can still buy diamonds from players, and can get everything you really need with that. Especially if they activate the NPCs, then you can even get house energy -- but really, house energy isn't the end of the world if that is the only thing F2P can't get.

As far as what is bannable, that also seems very obvious the way it has been stated by GM Nytefall. Don't try to sale anything in-game for anything outside of game. Basically keeping all of the economy of the game, inside the game, makes sense and is really the only way an MMO can work and not be extra flooded by scammers/spammers/gold-sellers. If the only personal gain a person can get from playing RoM is *inside* the game, it is less likely to be exploited by outsiders. If gold sellers could only buy in-game items with the money [stupid] people pay them, they wouldn't do what they do. They do it because they get REAL money.

I'm not saying this will stop gold sellers, but the rules are still good and should be there. Otherwise it is like saying we should make murder legal, because the law doesn't stop everyone from doing it, lolz.

I really get tired of seeing the people that are quiting RoM trying to sale gear, gold, their toons, etc.. either for real money, or for items that can be used in other games. I mean, how many times (on Govinda) have we seen people buying RS gold, and shouting over and over about it in world. Will be nice if the new staff is going to crack down on that.
