i just want personal diamonds to rent bags/bank spaces, and portable mail/ah/bank. I live in a poor town, unemployment is high rocketing, we cannot afford food and water, let alone diamonds. i play this game to escape the reality and hardship of the real world. pleaseeeee give us the diamonds NPC or allow zeevex. thank you. also making it harder to sell things in inventory because of no abl's = difficult, means i am vendoring tosh gear or stoning it.

I'll say this. I'm personally getting so sick of the ridiculous amount of frosting they are trying to put on the dog poo cake they call a game. What started out as a promising game compared to W.o.W., is now a game no better then some poor remake of what a real MMO should be. Wake up. Seriously. WTF. Ya'll can't handle the jobs you have now. Now you are going to get tickets and have to watch people in-game to catch them selling zeevex. I personally would prefer you to work on the game patches and maybe fix some problems with the game instead of wasting your hard earned money on trying to catch people sellin zeevex. But what do I know... I'm just a paying customer giving feedback that get's every single forum post I make deleted. Sure have enough time to troll the forums for posts that tell the truth instead of fixing the game or helping it's community with their tickets. And you wonder why we are all peeved?!?

Most players don't even visit the forum, let alone read a random 5 page thread about Zeevex. If it's a bannable offense, we should have been warned months ago. Not just in some buried posts. Selling Zeevex was never considered an issue before; why is it suddenly against the rules, years after RoM came out?

Apparantly because of misuse.

People selling all gear, buying zeevex and then moving to different game, as far as I can tell after 5 pages of topic.

Tell you the truth, it makes sense, as game can't survive without money, and there is no way to tell how someone will use zeevex purchased for in game gold, and it is no different then selling gold for money as gold sellers.

This has to be the worst thing they can do for there player base EVER. Taking away the ability to farm gold and buy Zeevex like 90% of there players is ignorant. Theres already talk from all the EG players of a dia strike. And this will lead to a lot of players leavinf RoM for good.
Heres a couple of resons why this is jsut ignorant.

1) They loose NOTHING when players buy Zeevex,
a) because one way of another that money is getting to RoM, Someone has to go out and get the zeevex whether its me or the seller right. So Frogster gets there money.
b) whats the diff if i buy the card or the seller is buying it if you (Frogster gets the money) ?
2) Fall of the Economy.
a) You will have a tottal collapse of economy, it will start with the EG players (EG = endgame), Because there the ones that do most of the buying of zeevex to trade for gold or items.
b) Because there will be no EG platers there will be no EG items for sale, leaving the rest of players with no items to buy/way to get zeevex/dias.
c) Less traffic on servers, why would i bother farming items or gear to sale if there is no one to buy them? i wont !!!

3) The death of RoM.
a) Traffic base on your servers will be reduced to that of Grimdale....NOTHING. You will be driving of F2p player who are like grunts and drive your EG/Cs players to provide dias/zeevex
b) Well thats basicly it you just killed RoM, Thanks frogster now sale this game to a valid hoster !

Reason people trade zeevex and not diamonds? Diamonds are not tradeable, and zeevex are. People dont want to look for scarce diamond sellers during the item shop sale, which is the only time they can buy diamonds. So, the workaround is to buy zeevex with gold, and then buy diamond with zeevex and then use them during the IS sale.

People are not going to other game with zeevex. Zeevex is a time shifting tool, not a way to make dollars/euros from the game. You enable to give people diamonds, not just items bought with diamonds, and need for Zeevex goes away. Prohibiting the trade without giving legitimate alternative to what trade was meant to accomplish just drives the process underground. It is not like gold for dollars, because zeevex are not dollars. You can't get dollars for zeevex, and the concern about other games is overblown too. Other games zeevex supports look very weak.

I can't find my other message, so let me repeat. If it is illegal to buy out of game assets with in game assets, is it also illegal to do it the other way? If I buy in game asset with out of game asset, my partner is breaking the law, not me.

All this new rule will do is push Zeevex buyers and sellers into a "whisper for price" mode in world chat. Truth be told, Gameforge has no way to monitor what actually occurred in a transaction, especially if outside messaging systems are used to complete the trade (i.m's, email, etc.)

All they're going to see is a piece of gear being sent through the mail system or gold getting passed around using other methods.

The incident started with one player on Reni, who was asking to get banned long before he came up with this little stunt. Punishing the rest of the playerbase for the actions of one person is both not going to work, and is going to drive more players out. I can appreciate that you're trying to hit two birds with one stone (keep zeevex in the game and prevent the initial form of abuse from happening again), but this is the wrong way to do both.

If you really want to keep zeevex in this game, then you need to improve the code redemption process on adventurer packs (because the long, drawn out, unnecessary process that it became under the new site revamp is just a plain turnoff to those who use zeevex), start including items that can be redeemed for zeevex that previously could not, and possibly raise the amount of diamonds that can be redeemed for zeevex.

As for the abuse, if it's in the game, players are going to find a way to abuse it. It didn't take long for a guildie of mine to figure out how to glitch the tornadoes in AC so that they don't move anymore. If the constant response is to revoke how players use the system... we'll wind up with no system left to use.

I'd rather have people in game than out. But that's just me.

You have to understand that this new rule will plan you do 2 things. Drive this underground like stated above. This will increase scammers ability to do just that scamm. Also driving F2p player to other games, basicly 90% of your players. SO keeping to this rule you will kill your own game quickly. ALso placing a hugly seen bad reputation on Frosters ability to host and maintain a F2p game.
So go ahead and see where this leads. Cause i can tell you know after discussing this with my guild we have put a guild and alliance freeze on purchesing cash shop items and dias from frogster.

It's legalise, there's also a sentence break if you didn't notice, that's two sentences.

How come no one ever reads the ToS? I've known this has been against the ToS since day one, selling Diamonds is against the ToS but that's overlooked because Diamonds went out of the AH, it's actually funny considering a lot of games don't allow you to buy/sell their premium currency as well. It seems like people feel sort of entitled since they've never played games that disallow this (which is close to every F2P game).

No one here even really needs Zeevex and buying a Zeevex card from somone carries the same risk as buying/selling Diamonds, I don't see the real problem.
