Buying zeevex was ALWAYS a bannable offence. People keep forgetting that it was only TOLERABLE. Everyone who purchases zeevex including myself knew that it was not a good item to have for a long duration. I knew not to trade in it unless I could get rid of it as soon as possible as it would be not tolerable any more.

I have asked many times and I have always gotten the same response.

Advertising "Buying Zeevex, pst for price" or "Selling Zeevex, pst for price", or even "Selling chocolate chip cookies, 20k each" is still a terms of service violation, and will still lead to account sanctions.

And this is also bannable under our Terms of Service. Items sent between accounts with no in-game consideration allows us to assume and punish as if such a transaction has taken place.

So let me understand this. If I send items to another account (which I may or may not own) and don't get something in return for it, I can be banned because you ASSUME I did something wrong? Please clarify your statement, because if I can get banned for trading gear among accounts without getting something in return, I think I'll just leave now.

As long as i can get at least 1000 diamond per week from the NPC i wont complain. If you only give me 15 diamonds a day, i wont even go to varanas to claim them, 15 diamonds buy nothing... Renting portable bank, mail and AH cost 22 dia per 3 days... Now lets rent the bank pages and get enough energy to keep this 50 spaces house up and running...

I really hope we get nice alternative...

Our ToS is in effect and everyone agrees to the Terms of Service when playing.

Trading Zeevex cards/tokens for in-game items or gold is a bannable ToS Violation. This is the essence of what it boils down to.

While I do understand that this might surprise you after I received the information that this was tolerated in the past, please understand that this is not the case anymore and you risk your game account when doing such a trade. You are more then welcome to give us your feedback to this, but please wait for our statement as well and remain constructive.

People are not going to other game with zeevex. Zeevex is a time shifting tool, not a way to make dollars/euros from the game.

I'm sure some people do it for that reason, but some people do it for less legit reasons. I don't think either of us know how many of which there are, and probably FA/GF doesn't either, so can't be sure if "a few bad apples spoil the bunch" -- or if the bunch was mostly rotten to begin with.

For example, the person that sales the Zeevex (or any outside game currency/favors/etc) for gold, might not know if the buyer is a gold seller/scammer or a person wanting to do the legit items you mentioned. This could let a gold seller get Zeevex cards for in-game gold, and Zeevex cards are almost as good as cash to them, so not that different from the person that sales the Zeevex to be buying the gold for cash directly... the gold seller can then turn around and sale the Zeevex cards on ebay or anywhere else they like, and that probably isn't even illegal (unless Zeevex has a no resale policy to protect their retail vendors).

How much zeevex people bought/sell?? I was not aware that so many folks relied on zeevex.

I know there is almost no chance, but cost nothing to ask: would it be possible to have DIAS back in AH?? People need an easy way to trade DIAS, and @ current state trade trough gifting is in my opinion just wrong. Why can't I go to AH, purchase 300 dias and get my self mount if I have spend countless hours grinding in the game, helped game economy and other players in process. Those DIAS were purchased by someone, and if the only reason are gold sellers, what is stopping them from buying CS items trough gifting at this moment?

@humilitea - see what have you done? Now I am unhappy as well! :(

ok so does that include passing gold between 2 accounts that have so i can buy items off the Auction House to buy gear for the different toons that i am actively playing from both accounts? that means since you watch the mail traffic and no in-game itmes are being passed between the 2 accounts you can assume im buy Zeevex and the such and i could get both my accounts banned?

I relied on it before gamepay was released.

I purchased roughly ... 120k - 150k zeevex tokens and even more in Diamonds.

With the release of gamepay and the (I don't think it was intentional) unintentional removal of adventure packs from zeevex cards and providing more of an incentive for players to use their credit cards. (and get more diamonds for the dollar)

I stopped buying zeevex a long time ago and stuck to diamonds from other players.

Why not also ban buying/selling diamonds in world? Why enforce just this tidbit, instead of being consistent with your TOS and banning all forms of being "currency" (diamonds)?

Thanks for this this Mandrakes.

Gifts with diamonds are in-game items. So you are exchanging an in-game item (and indirectly, an in-game currency) for an in-game currency.

Yeah, I remember you telling me about zeevex as main currency and priceless hours asking in world for dias/zeevex sellers. It is sad that game is turning its back against F2P with moves like this, and what even more will make me sick is another in game banner like the one we had for gold sellers that will tell that buying zeevex will be punishable by ban. (hate those, and they always come when you don't need them, like in instance or middle of something)

Is this connected to announced enabled DiasNPC, or this is just single problem with Reni player as mentioned before and now all those zeevex users will have to pay for it?

Was this rule enforced in EU? (just read post on another forum, not related to game that friend has stopped playing RoM after 3 years as it is impossible to play F2P and compete with playing population - he is from poor country where montly sallary is in couple of 100s of dollars)

Why can't we do this with IN game mechanics?? (AuctionHouse)

It is really bother to rely on gifting to trade Dias in both cases, as seller and as buyer.

Diamonds are also a real world currency because you buy them with real world money. Which are not directly tradeable, so we have to trade zeevex. we cant even bulk send IS items to people anymore.

You are arbitrarily enforcing a rule that hasnt been enforced since the start of the game. You havent even given a reason why this rule change is occurring.

They're doing it because they're being nice, also it's a lot more work to enforce, and they'd probably just take away our option to gift.

Christ that got deleted fast...

Basically there are several areas of the ToS you guys let slide. Let's face it, there has been a certain grace to many parts of the ToS, and that grace was implemented by Frogster. Not us.

It was asked on page 2 and answered on the same page: Are we able to buy/sell adv. packs?
The answer was yes.

Are we able to buy/sell the codes to them? Or just the in game item?

If so, what is the different between the codes and diamonds in terms of use?

Zeevex was the only way for F2P players to obtain rubies without purchasing via other players, since they removed the ruby reward (which was minimal in the first place) in the P Token shop.

Diamonds purchased through the billing site are an in-game currency. You cannot use them outside the game. Therefore, the premise you are basing this on is incorrect.

so send gold to my second account or my wifes account or vice verse to either of mine from her account get all 3 accounts banned by way that you can assume that we are buying Zeevex since only gold is passed between the accounts and no in-game item is sent in a certain amount of time? this concerns me cause our guild helsp each other out by sending gold to each other to help get in-game items as a loan that is paid back to the 1 sending the gold at a time when they earn it back up. so all that help could be assumed as we buying/selling Zeevex between us ?
