According to what I have heard they plan to stagger new content in 3 month intervals, we are now past the 3 month mark, and people are logging in less, at least in my guild. We have quite a few new players and yesterday offered an RT run, as RT gear is still very much relevant as are the set skills, and we got nothing but crickets. A few months ago it would have been "oooooMe!"

I only really have Sundays to play so I'm certainly not MMO shopping, but really people are logging on less or just bored. So is this the big patch week, or will they wait for the dust to settle?

Rumors and the mysterious "they" have muttered mid to late September for next BIG Patch.... I hope it is because things are pretty stale these days. Granted as a guild leader I've always got something to do. Average Joe not so sure. Most people are not bothered with this content because of wasting resource on minor gear upgrades that will be replace anyway with next cap. Its anyone's guess.

Well, the patch going from 5.0.1.xxxx to 5.0.2.xxxx. That means it is not a minor patch, since it changes base version.

That does not mean there will be lots of changes. Sometimes new festival and couple typo fixes is all that is done on version number change patch. Still, there is greater possibility that more is included when going from 5.0.1 to 5.0.2.

I do anticipate major QQ fest tomorrow, though. If something major is done, there will be complaints about that. If nothing major is done, then about that.

Vfwiffo , you have noticed correctly, it is bigger release then usual patch. New festival being fairy tale festival, according to welten.de (or what is called) Just as I mentioned before, wonder if that was fixed, if that is story telling festival. (it is about the same time like one last year)

I'm not so sure the outcry is what Wiffo expects it will be.

I, like most of my guild, am basically logging on to siege and do a run or some world bosses for the guild- and then we head straight back to the other game. At this point, very few players, whether P2P or F2P, are still running around in Runes of Magic for any period of time longer than an hour or two.

Runes won't bleed out completely. But it is in critical condition right now. Less people means fewer complaints.

In a world of black, white, and grey... I'd be bright friggin' purple. M/P on Reni.
