If those are the patch notes that will be released to us...then I will be atleast satisfied that they fixed some minor bugs that were bothering me.... But this is yet to be determined. We shall see what happens. I'm somewhat optimistic...

  • Skills:
    • Removed the GCD of the following Rogue skills:
      • Throw
      • Combo Throw







  • Skill descriptions:
    • Briar Shield (Warden):
      increased physical defense changed from 9% to 5%.
      • The skill descriptions read now:
        (LVL 1)
        Thorns surround you for 900 seconds, increasing your physical defense by 5%. When you are physically attacked, it reflects 1% main hand weapon DPS. (Only effective on targets within a range of 50)
        (LVL 70)
        Thorns surround you for 900 seconds, increasing your physical defense by 32.5%. When you are physically attacked, it reflects 6.6% main hand weapon DPS. (Only effective on targets within a range of 50)


    • Summon Spirit of the Oak (Warden):
      Increased physical defense changed from 20% to 65%.
      • The skill description reads now:
        Summons a Spirit of the Oak to assist you. While in effect, it will increase your physical defense by 65 % and parry rate by 20%.


    • Indomitable Spirit (Champion/Warlock):
      • The skill description reads now:
        Can only be used when HP is less than 65%. The following 3 Dark Energy Strikes cause double the damage. Also restores 2% HP.


    • Angel Salvation (Knight/Priest):
      • The description reads now:
        Uses the holy light to resurrect a player. (Can be used in battle.)

Anyone else think Throw and Combo Throw were bad enough before having their GCD removed and the throwing knives damage increased? And if they're gonna go around getting rid of GCD's on melee skills, shouldn't they take a look at scout?

Wow, by the looks of it just about every class got a nice boost. Except for Warriors and Scouts... their elites better be awesome to make up for it >.<

The RomCast mentioned 60 AND 70 elites. Did that change during the patch process, or were they just left off the patch notes?

Yeah, those Wardens that were hard to kill in siege just got a whole lot harder to kill. Weeee..... At least my throw will be nice and beefy. Are they trying to make w/r ranged DPS or something? :P

Not sure if there are any k/p still out there to confirm this, but it looks like Angel Salvation will be at least one of their new skills. I checked on theromwiki.com and runesdatabase.com and didn't see a skill by that name. Curious that it was "changed"... anywho, a combat rez for a k/p sounds pretty awesome. I wonder if it will somehow be as awkward to use as the Warlock's combat rez.

Love the fixes, but what I REALLY wanted to see were the level 60 (AND LEVEL 70!) elites. Guess I'll have to wait until I get home from work tonight to see those in action. Sure would be nice if somebody could start a thread to collect data on each elite skill :D

I haven't played K/p since the 3rd class was added and the LAST thing a K/p needs is the ability to Rez durring combat. Why would a knight need to rez, isn't that something a Priest or Druid should be doing? If that's a new Elite for that combo K/p just got the "Mighty Shaft" again. The only Elite Skill I want to see for Knight is a Weapon Mastery.

Searching EU forums, I see mention of Diamonds being again in the AH, but Cedric's amount of diamonds being reduced as of this patch.
