I kinda feel like warriors got the shaft... :( W/R Beserk should've been changed to cost no rage rather than eliminate the pDef reduction :D

Here's hoping the dwarf skills are good (and actually IN the game!)

My P/K wife is thinking about swapping back to d/s cuz it might actually do more healing now. If I read that description right, Camilla flower is now a group heal? What?!?!

Maybe not in PVE, but PVP just made it pretty freakin powerful.
it gave rising tide a damage increase, changed the element to fire (boost that another 63% due to fire knowledge) AND it can trigger eruption for another hit of similar caliber. It may actually be more powerful than fireball with a shorter cooldown.

Looks like I may be starting to play M/P in siege again. M/R elite... sucks. Rising tide really looks like there's lots of potential in PvP now.

and lol R/S have a useless elite for lowblow spamming rogues. Nice to see them encourage R/S to use something beside lowblow though. And let the QQ ensue.

And Ebil as well as all Stam/Dex stacking 160k HP R/P will be happy with his new elite :D

Rogue

  • Scout

  • Priest

And R.I.P P/K lol

Honestly, most of these elites are pretty underwhelming. A few classes got some nice ones, but most of us got what looks to be a bunch of useless skills. I suppose that tends to be the tradition with elite skills in RoM though. And here I was hoping r/k would get something cool, ah well, time to go back to being mediocre.

Completely agree.

Honestly I was hoping that these elites would be used to 'bring to life' some of the lesser played class combos. But even those combos received pretty worthless lvl 60 elites.

The worthlessness of some of these, and the re-instituted hassle of getting elite skills will probably serve to demotivate a lot of people to go past lvl 50 on secondary classes.

That's 168k hp 191k with pet out, and 245k with unicorn and growing! And the new r/s elite will neutralize the pocket healer. Its not the greatest elite but it's useful.

Don't worry about that ebi, any alt that's 60/60 or higher can get the flowers to make the items, which is what I'm doing atm, every 6 hours I can do it and you can switch flowers on your alts if someone else needs help etc. There isn't a 5 day time limit that I know of, there's none.

Also the other thing I've noticed is that there isn't any elites for Dwarf classes, sucks to be them.

Confirmed no elites for dwarves, or are you saying that because they weren't listed on that German website?

Most of the new elites suck... and some of the classes that got buffed by their elites were classes that DIDN'T need to be buffed. Druid/Scout.. they were already the best druid and a better healer than Priests in alot of occasions, AoE camelia makes them even better.

Rogue/Scout, what reasoning was there to give them numbing dagger on top of the multiude of other things that they already have?

Warden/Scout... warden scout is already the top dps in the game right now. Chiron could already oneshot Priest/Knights with over 400K pdef, now Chiron can do it faster? Cause that... really makes sense.

I'm a little peeved that some classes got to become even more OP while all the Priest 60 elite skills suck. I'm honestly not even sure if i'm going to bother getting them, that's how badly they suck.

60 Elites were one of the major things I was looking forward to in this new chapter.. and, no surprise, i'm severely disappointed. Just another thing Runewaker effed up.

I just hope that the Wave Armor heal is a DoT (HIGH DoT) heal... If it is just a flat 1 time heal then I am going to laugh... Also if its just like a regenerate heal (4-5k)... I am going to be disappointed. If it actually does 20-30k ticks then its actually not a bad skill to cast on a knight to start the fight out with.

Also for the Mage elite... Wave or whatever its called (The skill no one uses) I am very disappointed. Even for an instant cast in PvP... That skill never did much damage anyways... Guess ill have to try it out.

Rising tide for M/p was far more useful than most people seem to think, instant with a 4s cool down made a very good filler. As M/p you didn't have the water damage boost, so was very much like fireball on the P/m side, both had reduced damage compared to their 'natural' sides but it still put some hurt out.
M/p could always use another instant.

The others I am not sure about, but being able to equip a staff as S/m sounds interesting, but still trying to determine how you fire off an arrow with a staff.....

Edit:
the whole 6 hour deal, if it's has to be done every 6 hours, sounds as annoying as the old level 50 elite skill routine.

Staff in mainhand and bow in ranged slot? Same way warden/scout wields 2h and can vamp arrow.

Looks like the M/P skill is horrible... Rising tide now does fire damage... Its a skill mages never used anyways. Scouts got some nice skills and so did Rogues...

I also play P/K depending on the healing the wave armor gives the target that may be an okay elite... If it is not a DoT heal though and a flat 1 time heal then that skill is worthless also...

You have never played a m/p I guess as rising tide hits just a,little bit lower than fireball and now,as,its mdamage it will hit harder than fireball.

Concerning the scout/mage elite in regards to the staff & ranged slot combo.

Vamp arrow's bleed is dependent off main hand physical weapon damage. Even a lvl 72 2h staff has, at best, about half the physical damage of an equivalent 1h sword.

So in other words they gave Scout/mages an elite that forces them to take a minimum of 50% reduction in the bleed of their vamp arrow for the bonus of doing some wind damage.

This while scout/mages are struggling to keep up with the DPS of their other scout/xxx cousins.

Not gonna judge the DPS output of this till I see it in action, but on paper its a pretty fail elite.

I have just never used Rising Tide. My Priest side has always used 100% healing spells since I play P/K. Guess ill have to farm some TP to see how Rising Tide works. It could be nice in siege having another instant cast. Fireball + Rising Tide = Death to players with 150k HP maybe... Right now in Siege its mostly Fireball and Thunderstorm. Fireball can usually take out someone with 50-70k HP and Thunderstorm ticks at around 35-55k each time.

If this skill hits at 70-100k I guess I would be happy with that... With just a few pots I can throw out a flame that does 200k-400k in around a second.

If you have to complete the 20/20 in 5 days then that would just be wrong. I guess you could save all the juices or whatever and use them all at once when you collect enough... Hopefully my partner logs in as much as me so we can get the skills around the same time :)

I might have to play my s/m again... if I can just find a staff that gives PA instead of MA. Otherwise, don't really see the point. Worth testing though, maybe that will boost Ingnite.

The m/w elite looks pretty cool too... if I understand correctly, gives you ability to cast while running? (for 7 secs after one of those other skills hits)

going to be funny to see some PA stated staffs.

Master Reflected Shot
  • Makes your Reflected Shot fire 2 additional shots. Also increases damage from each Reflected Shot.

Elite for s/r, will be extremely OP in SW on mobs and bosses. Its another form of combo shot but much better. Three reflected shots being fired a once that each reflect to another two targets and the dmg is increased. If it works this way its gotta be one of the top dps skills for s/r and potentially make it now the top dps scout combo.

EDIT: Even if the two extra shots don't reflect the elite will still be highly desirable.
