Proof of Bravery can be obtained from killing any of the new 75 versions of wodjin, mandara, hackman, lagusen and targohaul. You need 3 proofs of bravery to complete.

My text isn't messed up.
"Proof of Legend" drops from lvl 75 world bosses.

"Proof of Bravery" is what you need for the elite skill quest.

Am I understanding this right?

Sounds like to get the elite, you need to farm several bosses ala old-school 50 elites?

1) Who is Toxic Tealiss and Natasha Kleane? I don't recall running into them before and I don't recognize the gear in their loot tables on runesdatabase.com.
2) Isn't Annelia from Grafu Castle Hard? What % of the player population can actually do GCN, let alone GCH? Way to exclude a large portion of the player base......
3) Same goes for Varanas nightmare to get Androlier's Nightmare Spirit
4) How rare are those drops? If they're the same as for the epic weapons that never were, they should've been in the loot tables for a long time. How often do the people that run those instances actually see those items drop?
5) No elites for the dwarves? The heck? Dwarves were released more than a month before the 60 elites were announced. Have these elites been around for 6+ months? Have the devs really been holding back content on us for that long?

I gotta say, the more I learn about this patch the more disappointed and dissatisfied I get with Runewaker and Gameforge. Why don't you guys get your act together and start serving your clientele?

Do they seriously expect level 60s to be farming Annelia? Are they that insane? 95% of the players/guilds in this game can't do Annelia, but suddenly they expect everyone to be able to down her? The DoD drop seems to be the only reasonable one for a new level 60, though I dunno about the battlefield bosses.

The 50 elites were bad, but this is just sadistic. The only way a new player (or even a midgame player, for that matter) could hope to get these elites would be to buy the mats from the very few guilds that actually can down some of these bosses...who will probably charge stupidly high prices just because of that. Horrible implementation of the one thing everyone was looking forward to, on top of 90% of the new elites themselves being a total waste of time.

No I have screenshotted the text for Proof of Bravery.

You get them from only the level 75 versions of wodjin, mandara, hackman, lagusen and targonhaul. You must have the Beacon of Courage in your inventory to get the Proof of Bravery. Here's the link on the aus forums where I've posted the screenshot.

Wow, just wow. Can we get a GM to confirm any of this, you are asking 60/60 to do GCHM or down a level 75 boss? Or are you CM/GMs just keeping quiet cause you know it's jacked up. Or is the whole thing actually just broken. Yeah this reminds me of my level 50/50 elites. Which I hated every moment of. K for all you purests yes you should have to jump through a few hoops, but 90% of the servers don't stand a chance of farming any of this. I'll wait for the patch where you all make it so I don't have to drop a spider queen with 164 million HP.

BTW, will wait until one grey dot in someone's brain does not place those elites in Old Bag quests. So far, this rushed patch is just fail.

So, either level 60s have to down obnoxiously hard level 75 world bosses, or they have to farm Annelia/VN...

Neither of these options sound logical.

ok, I guess that is sort of good news, I had already given up, but now I will wait.......

From what I have seen of the new Elites, I'm not thinking many will do the quests to get them. As a K/r I have no real incentive to do the quest. I don't play R/k or R/p nor do I play P/k. So I'm not suffering through this to get an Elite I don't even want.


The only Elite that even has me interested is the K/p one for siege so I can follow my rogues around Combat Rezzing them.....But it's not worth the hassle to even get that one.

Oooook, thats a HUGE sigh of relief. My problem is, I never got an additional quest from either Laath or Parma. I obtained the beacon of courage, Parma goes back to default npc text, and Laath has the greyed out turn in for the reward.

Yeah, I didn't find the ID from world boss proof of bravery, just matched ID's with the old one and came with (the wrong) conclusion that you needed boss drops.

So if I understand this correctly, use beacon of courage near a downed lvl 75 boss's body, and you get 1 Proof of Bravery, do this x3?

I need to check in-game, because that quest was never available >.<

I wouldn't mind doing mind-numbing tasks for decent elites. like the 50/50 elites were really good. ie, P/W Fire Fairy greatly improves P/W dps and crit rate ( for ADS ) <-- just an example. Was it a pita to get the elites done? ayup. Was it worth it? AYUP.

Lvl 60 elites are the elites that should have come out @ lvl 15 or lvl 20 and have to do nerdrage-worthy quests to get 'em. What dumbazzes thought this through?

The text about where to get the "proof of bravery" only shows up the one time (which is why I screenshotted it). There's no way to refer back to the list (info) as the quest in your log only says to get 3 proofs of bravery. You don't "use" the beacon of courage. From what I read, it's supposed to activate automatically when one of the listed bosses is killed and drop a proof of bravery in your inventory. I haven't done this part yet as I'm waiting on more guildees to get that far and we will do a bunch of us at the same time.

As a side note, the flowers were found also in Silversprings, near the lake of magic mist and out in tagena. So no need to wander Ravenfell if you don't want to.

You indeed "use" the Beacon of Courage on the bosses' dead body. You get 1 Proof of Bravery per boss body. 1 use puts the Beacon of Courage on a 1 hour cooldown.

All that work for a skill that for most classes sucks anyway. Runewaker successfully ruined the one thing I was actually looking forward to in Chapter 5. Not even going to bother doing the quest. Maybe i'll get Linc to do it and tell me how suck it is.
