does anyone know where the npc Captain Richardson is located iv combed through the area and have everything else completed except assitsing him

From what we can tell, it is bugged. Richardson himself lays on the ground dead, and his companion is taking his place. But his companion doesn't really fight, and when he does - it doesn't complete the quest.

i dont even see a dead body on artemis... the other guy that you have to assist seems bugged now too ><

Its bugged on the AU server as well :/ The very first chain quest in the zone is also bugged, the 'Military Emergency'....gratz failforge on making more fail quests.

omg i am having the same issue as well.... i cant believe they didnt make sure the MAIN questline was good to go before releasing this patch.... what the hell... i can take the crashes in rom, i can take how this game is REDICULIOUSLY expensive to stay on the top... but atleast allow me to frigging level...

Yeah, I know on Palenque here, people have resorted to buying like 14-15 daily resets and leveling that way..... You can't use the gear unless you're 75, so it's pretty important to level to not fall behind. I submitted a Support ticket, and the reply I got was:
