Runes of Magic US / AU

I can verify that this happens it's been going on for a while now since that one patch, still no idea why it happens but it's very random when it does happen.

I've had it happen during siege too, really annoying as hell, I'm glad I play Druid mainly now.

We didn't have a problem with a hide bug persay but a problem with a rogue/scout from Indigo "absorbing" alot of hits from a w/wd not Dodgeing, Absorbing. Even after substitute wore off. he was absorbing 4-5 hits and then some from other players as well.

can confirm this bug

in siege if your around invis towers or the herald godspeed buff wears off that can trigger it but this happens outside those parameters as well

often when I tab out I'll pop hide just so people passing by don't think I'm actually there but sometimes when I come back to the window I'll still be sitting but hide is just gone =/ so it's not just siege


also still waiting for the fix for the 'bug' when people target me in hide in siege Kthx

errr u do know if u stand too close to a person u can be targetted even in hide? also r u sure its not just mage T-stroming u rather then targetting u in hide?

it's pretty pbvious when you are in hide to see who is targetting you and who isn't...
i use player HP bars, so it tells you when people are targetting you...

I'm quite sure lol, there's other features to this 'bug' but rogues are the only ones who really suffer from it in siege

it's like if I downloaded something so that thunderstorms never hit me, I'd imagine mages would be rather ticked off but no one is bringing this problem to public eye so I'm trying to without saying too much D:
it's also hard to prove unless you can get them to target you while you have them targeted and pop in and out of hide/vanish, which I have and have a bit of video. Even people I never thought to do such a thing I caught by accident (support ticket, no accusations allowed on forums)

I'm wondering if this is caused by auto target macro, which instantly targets whoever targets you. This should include whoever's in hide that targets you as well.

And yeah, I've seen some Rogues that are just... sitting there, not in hide in siege for no apparent reason, and just waiting for me to go and fireball them.

Or they realize that they're not in hide and pop it on at the last minute when I'm already on them and hitting discharge.

I ask any curious rogue out there to test this yourself, get a friend to target you and target him back then pop hide at a distance away from detection(if scout) and watch the target vanish as soon as your invisible
(and no auto target goes through try it and see)

now in siege, while recording, try and get the person your accusing to target you and do the same thing, vanish and escape works as well. Best thing about this is people can act like they don't see us but unless they specifically press 'esc' immediately, we caught them.

I'm just amazed at the number of rogues still using yawaka's blessing in sw xD

I always make it a priority to pot a DoT on any rogues that have popped out of hide. Hell, I'll chase after them spamming dots, because I know one of my dps will see them eventually and take em out. WTB more spellweavers for moar rogue chasing in siege :\

Also, in escape, you still take DoT dmg, even in hide, so still see those little numbers floating above your head, and you know an aoe is coming your way to take you out

oh and is it just me or does the focus tick of 0 appears above those r/s in hide too?

Alright guys, I'd like to think some of us rogues know our class well enough not to have yawaka's blessing on in siege and are smart enough to distinguish between damage pulling us out of hide and our hide breaking. There are a few causes you might not think of, such as a siege injury changing over or a visual illusion erasing your hide buff, but there are plenty of times when hide breaks for literally no discernible reason. Additionally, sometimes the things that should bug you out of hide (buffs wearing off, etc.) don't actually do it. Some buffs wearing off just don't remove hide, some only do it some of the time, and even others consistently do it (I'm looking at YOU enhanced armor). Either way, this isn't something that should be happening and it is rather game breaking when it comes to pvp. The majority of our class's pvp balance it based around our ability to hide and get the drop on people, and when we're already being denied that advantage by detection, eyes, flames, electrics with their ridiculous chain arcing, and guards magically seeing us, we are almost useless in siege. Combine hide's random breaking with the game's very odd combat detection (fight half the map away with you not in a party? psh, combat anyway!) and you get rogues that aren't really much of rogues at all, more caster fodder than anything.
