It seems so easy for you all to just think doing this is an easy process. Runes of Magic is a Free to Play game. They get the games running by doing little sales using item shop. They have a ton of expenses. Running a maintainance every other day requires resources. They do not have much resources as their main income is only base on the Item shop sales. This is not World of Warcraft where there is a stable income expected monthly. The use of their resources is base on their yearly Forecast on the sales. They can't just do what you want right away coz 1 or less than 20 people are complaining. They make budgets!!!
Your main point is just bunk. The free to play model, especially RoM, has been so successful, that the entire industry has moved in that direction, so it is not a lack of resources. A budget is only a plan, and the plan changes. Sometimes you have more resources, less snow, less snow removal costs. Sometimes you have less, more snow, more snow removal costs (and you have to remove the snow.) Sometimes you redirect resources, because we had less snow, we can upgrade some equipment. Resources are not static, based on a budget.
