While I'm glad they are finally doing some damage control with the ruby shop, it has been too late to save my guild. The marketing decisions over the coarse of late Ch IV and Ch V for the IS has caused more than 3 quarters of my guild to search for greener patches.
Siege being completely borked has caused many of our players to think about leaving - but implementing price hike in IS during those time has only cemented their decisions. The Ch V ruby shop catastrophe and lack of diamond sales was too much for several of those who stayed. We have so few people now due to Frogster's marketing decisions that our guild has been dissolved. This could have all been prevented if player feedback could have been listen to, rather than plough headfirst into more decisions that alienate players.
Thanks Frogster.

Yeah... and those of us who lived through Autopsy, 5-6 crashes per SW and 50 diamond puries find the whole "siege being borked", complaints about a 2-quest chain being glitchy and the "ack, it is overpriced" to be highly amusing.

I'd agree about the first two, but the overpriced CS really isn't something that's outrageous to complain about >.>. The diamond shop became cheaper, but the ruby shop became much more expensive, and for anyone that spends or has spent RL money on this game, they know that money does not go far. The item shop being overpriced is a legitimate complaint, whereas some of the other complaints on the forum are not.

It's unfortunate that things haven't improved here. The game is really good, or at least it was in Chapter 4, but it's too expensive.
I really like the League of Legends f2p model, and was hoping Frogster would eventually adopt something similar. By this I mean that you can truly play for free while paying for value added features and the dollars you pump in don't effect your performance. I probably would've spent more money on things like aggs and enjoyed the game more than I ever did here. Buy hey, who would want Riot's success?

What? The CS didn't get cheaper only puris did. Fact is at regular price 25 diamonds is a dollar. So $1.50 for a reset ticket is not over priced?

Heh, Palenque is a ghost town, I'm down to 5 players in my guild and the only way any of us will get our elites done is to rely on the "Bigger Guilds". I do my daily's I do siege and I gtfo, the rest of the day my toon sits afk.

Just completely clueless and brainless person would place sale ad from last night. I mean 23 dias for pot for your pet?! (Using Ebi's easy math calc, a dollar per pot) It would work if top level for pet was L15 or L20. But at higher level you need many of those and with poor population you either gonna get those by farming pet eggs yourself (on alt mostly) or pay >30 K per every 50 XP points for pet eggs in ah (mages atm lowest on Reni is 30K per egg - don't believe that they sell much tho) and wait 2 years to do it, or opt as everyone else for miller's cakes.
Just to explain what I mean, my pet is L33 atm, not spending gold on leveling it as it is hard(er) to make gold on low populated server atm. To get from L33 to L50 your pet needs 462,042XP or close to 460 dollars for item when on sale?! WTF? Just to level damn pet. (it is over 600 dollars to level it from lvl 1)
Please, oh, PLEASE buy calculator to sales folks, and HAVE THEM PLAY GAME, but not like GM, but like regular player.
If game takes 460 dollars JUST to level 17 levels for pet, don't you think that is damn stupidly expensive??? And you call it 'sale'?!
This potion should not be more then 1 dias - and when on sale, give 2 or 3 for dias - THAT and only THAT way you will SELL them in large quantities!!!
IMHO it looks like both sales and marketing team is doing everything to get us out of game... (and probably to play that other game they are obviously playing)
/rant off...

Or you could just...not buy it. Vote with your wallet as they say. I'm sure if they saw that no one was buying an item they would stop putting it up, at least at the price listed.

When Osha/Indigo tried to vote with their wallet over the housing chest issue last year, the sales team responded by putting the free house chests on the item shop sale on a nearly weekly basis.
Since the issue has been mostly resolved, we've seen those chests on sale maybe 2 or 3 times.
Just sayin.

Speaking of assumptions, can we settle if we are pushing the "sales department is completely oblivious to anything in game" line or "sales department is doing damage control" line? I am getting cognitively dissonant here.
