Just wanted to point out that you can make a Loot rune X by buying a whole bucket load of III's and merging them in the AT, its VERY pricey but has been done a number of times on the AU servers. I personally have a Loot IV that i made.
You can do this with every rune though, so not sure if you have just never done it or didn't know. Obviously 4 of the same rune on any piece of gear is fishy, but a Loot X itself is not

Comparing you making a loot IV to a loot X is funny, post a pic of a 'notfake previewed item' on a character and maybe someone will care.

How do you make Loot IV when its disabled?? I tried with Loot III and did not work....

Is there certain tier that is enabled??

As for topic, there might be some issues with outdated addons in ROM as well. I had cases that addon preview shows wrong thing...

I've seen some weird gear, but there are only a few cases that screamed "it is fake". Like, for example, I saw someone selling two of fairly rare item. On AH, so I know it is real. Exactly identical - same dura, same drilling, and both from same seller. Both cleaned, which is what I would do if I knew how to dupe an item, to remove another point of match.

Is it duped? I don't know for sure. It can be legit that same person got exact same drop.

Then I see some gear that is statted so badly that it makes me wonder. What do I say to a T8 clean statted piece of endgame gear with 3 great stats, one low stat from L55 instance and 2 green stats? Sure, it is legit that someone can make it. How does someone rich enough to make clean T8 make such horrible statting. Rich and stupid? Someone made a mistake? Or a cheat?

ive seen people merge bought Loot runes to higher tiers, so that's not the problem. you cannot *create* them on your own but you can merge what you alrady have. like Block, Shield etc

But most people i know only use the rune on alts for farming cards ... since it's a weapon rune it's use is pretty limited
