Runes of Magic US / AU

Oddly someone (a dwarf) on my server was selling a stack of Little Magic Biscuits. I'm trying to figure out how anyone would have a stack after this long? I haven't seen any since maybe before last Christmas.

Personally I do have a more than adequate stockpile of Dumplings and the odd stacks of Lil Magic Biscuits and others, Dumplings primarily from way back when they were bundled with Runes in the IS and others that have just gathered dust, last few times I've seen GM's I've personally not seen food handed out but that was a good few months back now...

A guildy who will remain nameless has tons of stacks of Dumplings just sitting becuase we don't really need them and he doesn't need the money from them. But they are all the way from March 2011 when they had the VII runes for the first time coupled in with the dumplings.

I had dumplings sit in my bank (totally forgotten about them), then found them half a year later when I checked bank, and sold them on AH.

Yea, its most likely the left overs from players who didnt need them and left them laying on mules coming to surface now. I myself have about 3 stacks just sitting around.

I have stacks of magic biscuits as well which have some how vanished, i cannot for the life of me remember where i put them.

Thanks for reminding me to check my alt guild bank, I might have some too... lots of non-tank type people that get a lot of these items and don't really need them, end up saving them away until prices go up (when they are first given out, prices are low, so not good time to sale), but then they sometimes forget about them.

You didn't know certain servers had a GM come on and give them tons of Dumplings? Hence by one thread like when AC was the best istnace,..? smh.

Shortly after the dwarves were brought in Ms handed out food.
I still have several stacks of biscuits and dumplings in storage, I seldom use them and often forget about them.

No we do not hand out egg rice dumplings or little magic biscuits atm, and have not in quite some time. I know they are very desired, but for balancing reasons we do not at this point.

Yeah man! Those who are lucky enough or have played long enough have hundreds, some even thousands of egg rice.

New players or less fortunate have very little...or none.

That's not even close to all of it. Some toons on Reni have 20k+. Balance, man.

wow.. I hate you. I only hae 2 stacks left and thats from when they first sold VII's lost some when hm's went missing and they eneer got replaced..

I wasn't aware that there was any sort of concern for balance in any aspect of this game considering the amount of quality control on patches. Nor was I aware that little magic biscuits were gamebreaking (and for what? siege because its hard to target? but that's in "beta" and can be solved with macros or tab)

Thats like saying we will disable all lvl 60+ alchemy and food crafting recipes due to balancing issues. They are there to tip the balance in favour of those using it. Dont call them buffs for nothing xD

The current items given out by cm's and gm's are far from desirable though. most of it i can get pretty easily and some are useless, like the character enlarging food which u can get from housekeeper as a potion.

Dont get me wrong ill still pop over when a gm or cm comes online just to chat. Just dissapointing that our own guild gives out better prizes and contests than the game. we've given guildies statted gears, high rank runes, 1m xp and 100k tp orbs and diamonds among other stuff for contests and just for the sake of it. we even have the blue X statted gears in 2 pages of our bank that all members can grab for free if they need stats.

I dont know the inner workings of who suggest what in gameforge and who makes the decisions but these are my feelings it applies to not just giveaways but sales events and everything. What can you do hey? I'll jsut keep playing the game coz its good and hope gameforge can find their feet and take this game to the level it deserves.
