Nice comparasion except this isnt a tangible item on you, its a skill which were used to using and clicking, chit happens and we got the low end of the stick, never said it was gonna be a common issue but its gonna happen to some wardens.

should probally clarify, i said its a bug but not exactly, this was their dumb attempt at fixing the summoning issue, but it really sucks how these morons went about it.

Warlock/Mage

Blazing Barrier - Fire Ward increases Fire Damage
(Fire Ward with this new elite - lvl 0 - Increases fire damage by 10%, upgrades .5% per lvl) fyi Fire ward+44 is a 32% boost.

Mage/Warlock

Soul Speed (passive)
Causes Soul Stepping to additionally increase movement speed by 20% and casting speed by 20%
(Soul Stepping +50 - for 30 seconds allow you to move while casting any spell ... cd 1m 30s)

Its a great day to be a m/wl combo!

So if I'm understanding correctly, Wardens are currently furious at Runewaker because Runewaker implemented a fix to prevent them from benefiting from "accidently" summoning another pet when they already have one summoned?

I do have a feeling that a lot of wardens will now have a lot less of these "accidents".

But still, I do hope RW stops trying to screw wardens. If they want to tank, just let them tank in peace, sheesh.

Common practice during a fight is that if your pet is in the process of being killed, you would summon another pet (usually the same one). If my following is correct, in the middle of a fight, if summoning your pet to replace the almost dead one, your buff will vanish, so if interrupted... you could really be up the proverbial creek without a paddle!!

They don't like Wardens, never have..... My first Warden on other server was a great tank, until they nerfed that many patches back. Now a tanking warden uses the tanking pet. That's the one that like most tanks in this game doesn't generate any aggro

Anyways, waiting on a download to finish so I can see what the new Panda's are like :)

realistically its not too bad for all wardens, the main ones affected the most by this are wdn tanks, since buffs vanish on pet death, they should give them rhe ability to conceal them like fairies or make the pets immune to all aoe damage, if not thatd be the same as knights loosing enhanced armor and ur shield mid fight really make ur class pointless unless u plan on only tanking things that are waaaaaaaaay beneath ur ability level

Pets are immune to all aoe damage, atleast warden pets are.

This only really hurts pvp wardens because they no longer have the 10% absorb and defense they have to choose one or the other, that and it hurts Wd/S since they cant have Def and Chiron.

Wardens pets do have a buff that prevents them from recieving aoe's but not all aoe's and not many many other skills

gotta make a list,

first boss tosh, thousand feathers 100% kill rate on SoTo
second boss tosh, during second phase 60-30% his shield spin will do 60% dmg to soto each time
Aoe bleeds and such, IE 5k stackable tick from undead angren speeders in tosh

This list can go on, and aoe's arent the only problem for SoTo.

How nubby it can sound but no matter what the worst thing it can do is ninja pull crap.

Spirit of the oak WILL DIE, and the warden tanking will go along with it.

Too much crap we gotta deal with now that we shouldnt have to deal with.

This would just make warden pets die to all aoe's, as conceal doesnt protect fairies from anything anymore (some patch broke it)

Indeed, i was a bit dissapointed by the lvl 70 elite for p/s because i dont use "Heal" skill. So i thought might as well start using it because trying to get more opportunities to use curing shot is helpful somewhat. I level my heal up, used my pet concealed it fight start and it dies. Hope it gets fixed, but it wont get fixed.

STOP WHINING WARDENS YOUR MAKING US LOOK BAD!!! So what you dont get the SoTo, go use your nature crystal and your briar shield(+46% pdef), and tank. If you really cant tank with plate gear statted as a tank with a 46% Pdef buff, and with all of those aggro skills, + a 10% HP Shield that you obtain every 15seconds, then your just a gimp tank......

people are whining about wardens like they thought this wasnt goin to happen.. PEOPLE> when they upgradec charged chop and made all the changes to it the first time.. check the patch notes back then... i believe it was either that one or the one after... where they said they fixed the same damn thing.. and all this same qq went about, but it didnt work.
SO WEVE KNOWN THIS HAS BEEN COMING FOR A WHILE>
But besides, so what.... it just makes you play different now. And for the guy who says i cant wait to see spirit of the oak die and wipe a party... htf is that goin to happen... when im tanking, and i pull mine out he has approx. 475k ish HP.... with that much hp... and druids in the party who raid heal, and a halfway competent priest, should never die period. learn to play your class friends.
I used my spirit of the oak to pull a boss yesterday, (AFTER nerf), and well wouldnt you know... he would not listen and come back to me... lol he wanted to fight the boss alone.. and we all got a big laugh out of it, cuz this went on for 30 sec+ the boss couldnt kill him, and only had him down to half health before he finally listened and came back to me, this IS KBNH btw, once he came back into range, a druid popped him right up no problem.
Well im under the inlfuence and rambling now. either way, if your spirit of the oak dies your party or you fails one or the other.

Wait.. Conceal broke again in this patch? Prior to this patch, I noticed my fire fairy stayed concealed in instances and teleporting from 1 location to another... I haven't had time to test anything out, just doing dailies until the weekend.

They somehow got the conceal feature ter look like twas workin, but first AOE from any mob or boss, an yer fairy tis in Davy's Jones Locker. The only fix me can find tis that yer fairy no longer loses its conceal when changin zones. That twas tiresome, but still, no complete fix. Fairies only be useful iffn they no get offed by AOEs.

r/k has an elite searing light that can't be active when regular rouge poison is up

and wardens are crying that they can't have ALL the pet buff? seriously? it's OBVIOUSLY a bug fix NOT a nerf.

and untill r/warl can stop the mass resist somehow that class will always be borked regardless of how much dmg

My fire fairy, yes I am a P/W, hasn't been getting hit by aoes outside of KBN on the ants that use Whirlwind. Conceal seems to be active unless you change zones and stays active through recasting the Halo unless auto-retaliate is active. I still need to do some testing on whether or not it is still active even though it shows as being active.
