I'm a little confused, why are we ahead a day on the advent calendar. When I opened the box that said 24, I was like, "omg wait it's Christmas Eve today?!!!!!!!!" and then I realized it was the 23rd. Why did we open the box of the 24th on the 23rd? Were we always a day ahead?

Secondly, yeah that prize was not that great. We already got a shorter time version of this mount this month, why give another one? Should've been a puri or or something.

It's a region thing. AU/EU is way ahead of US in timezones (up to 17 hours ahead in AU, I think 7 or 8 hours in EU). I think they open the "Days" at midnight EU time.

Yeah. All regions get same code, and all are up at same time.

While it is not that useful, since most people have mounts already, it fits the theme. To the degree that they can do Christmas prizes in game with not a lot of Christmas items, that was kinda appropriate.

And if they did something like a puri, there would've been blood in the water from all the sharks getting tons of clean stones on throwaway accounts, and it would take forever to untangle the abuse, if it could be done at all.

Yeah, hopefully next time they do something like this they'll do it differently to prevent abuse - either tie the Voucher Code & Password to the account that redeems the key (and bind the actual item), or (preferably) just have the item drop straight into the pack upon login, or heck, do like they did the presents under the tree and make it so you can just click on it once a day and get the days gift..
