Yeah, that's the only flaw with this event. People can just make a ton of new accounts and get a ton of free DQ tickets or whatever other prizes they give out. Wish they could find a way to limit this.

the way to fix it if they sat there and thought about it was to make some kinda application or something where the codes only good for 1 redeem they did it with the wings just lazy developers

Just a thought but im assuming all those who created accounts to get tickets redeemed those tickets on a main character. So why are we all being punished when you can find the OP F2P people who were doing it, give them a 30 day ban.

Why not just make the item pop into your bag when you log in like past events then all those fake accounts are worthless for the event, no redeeming just log on each day to get the free item, problem solved.

oh ya that's going to work just like how everyone on Reni got a "ban" for resetting dailys all month or how everyone abused the lvl 60 elite quest porting back and forth get over it and move on

They couldn't just make it so only 1 type of the code could be redeemed per account? Like the annelia wings?

Or ditch the calendar (sorry coders :\ ) and just make it so that the character logs in and automatically gets it, which I think someone had said.

I think a change needs to be made to the calendar. The way it is now isn't fair to the honest players who didn't exploit. Idgaf what they choose to do just fix it to be more of an appropriate solution.

Edit: I'd also like to say i vote for login and item drops into bag.

1) Wrong stuff happens to different servers. Sometimes it benefits just that server (like extra rubies or daily resets), sometimes it hurts it (like missing house stuff, which happened on some servers more than others). It's life. Random stuff happens. Sometimes you draw "bank errors in your favor" and sometimes "go directly to jail".

2) Items are one per account already - the long codes, that is. The short codes can be redeemed by same account several times, and I would guess there is no capability to limit it on short code basis in redemption system. And still does not solve the problem of people selling codes to those who are not aware of advent events.

3) Drop or send item to people approach works to limit the overuse, but it needs to be programmed, and you can't do it in the middle of event. Not that it is completely reliable either, as most old timers would recall from previous usages. And, of course, the first Advent item not being bound still does not prevent overuse. Having it tied to toon level might stem it, though, but not fix the issue completely.

I love how the advent page under community gets hidden under Turtorial for housing so that its almost impossible to click on, and clicking on the community button sends you to forums, so can't access the page from there either.
