There is now a limit to the total numer of codes given out for each advent item.
So far I am very disappointed with the advent calender, due to my schedule and website problems all I have managed to get is the two concept art views. And I really do not have high hopes i will get much more, I feel like a kid who opened a beautiful present only to find it full of tissue paper and no gift.

No there totally isn't a system in place for that already, like for when they gave the frogs out on log-in to the game, or the time they had the 2 hour cat pet drop into your bag in memory of a GM. No we need a totally new patch for just that.

A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.

Took me a minute or two to figure out that's what they were.. When I mounted mine for first time, I was thinking "why did they put a reindeer head on the front, and an elephant head on the back?"

I am so very disappointed in the forum community. The picture is of 7-day potion and we get 1 day potion. And yet I see no outrage, no swearing, not vitriol, no acting like it is "that time of the month", no QQing, no insults of everyone and everything. What happened? Have people lost their ability to get in touch with their inner spoiled 5-year old walking out of the toy store empty handed?!

Well for one its false advertising. True alot of items ingame use the same item picture. That still does not excuse for the use of a picture which does not even match the item they are giving away. Its no different than using the purified fusion stone picture with the code and when you redeem the code you get a Pet Merging Ticket. Yes its Free, but its the principle. If you going to do something do it right and not half azzed, this is a professionally run game so lets not get sloppy.

I love the way this event has soured so many people toward Gameforge.

Yes, it's been unfortunate & maybe not been handled in the best way possible, but at least they tried to do something about exploiters.

With all this negativity toward the giveaway, I am not expecting them to ever try repeating it.

I personally really like this event. It's perfect for the christmas season, so 10/10 on creativity for Gameforge. There are always going to be those morons who complain about everything. There are people on here complaining about how they haven't been able to get a single prize yet, but it's probably just their own incompetence since everyone I know has to been able to claim all of the in-game items.

One of the problems with this forum is that when players don't understand how to do something, they jump to conclusions and yell that it's broken, even when it's not.

The only problem I've had so far with this event is the exploitation of the DQ tickets, but I hear players are going to get bans for that, so I'll be fine with it if the exploiters do in fact get banned.

There is an event?

Apart from missing only good item (card) and getting it from a friend, I was not overly impressed with rest of them and tell you the truth I found it rather silly to go trough process of getting it, so I am just ignoring whole thing...

I was hopping that after depleted population (even new most used zone turned into 1 channel - that should tell you something of game world population) marketing folks would seriously work on how to invite more new players that we desperately need, especially as they knew that one of games that cost us about half of population is going F2P model.

I know, it would be out of ordinary if they did something more too keep happy existing and to attract new customers...

At least 1 dias sale was MUCH better then what we usually get, so based on past experience waiting for next bad sales... and QQ that follows...
