Please do not discuss moderation. As long as no one violates our forum rules, no one needs to intervene. We all want to discuss in a fair and constructive environment or find help for technical issues or answers to our questions. There is no need to attack those who may be able to help nor will it solve problems any faster nor did anyone on forums or support cause the problems to begin with. We are one great community and one for all, all for one.
Yesterdays key is invalid today, because as the news explained these keys are only valid for the day the door is open on the advent calendar. Unfortunately this means due to the fact that some greedy and unfair players forced us to take the calendar down, this hurts our honest players who missed out on that day. Which is by no means fair, but nothing we can change.
What we will absolutely not tolerate is unfair players hurting our community and keeping the spoils of their bad deeds. I will not go into detail, but rest assured, we are currently evaluating the situation and there will be consequences for those who abused the calendar feature. Consequences which I can not discuss in public, as I hope you can understand.
Any insults, harassment or violations of rules in game are not tolerated either and I can assure you that our support takes action if the wrongdoing can be proven with the data we have. But please keep in mind that sometimes something a user says in a heated argument may come across as offensive to you due to the heated situation or simply be a misunderstanding. Just like not every player who farms dog meat bots. Or like not every player who did not send you the IS item you agreed upon as gift from the item shop logs out after receiving the gold but might just have crashed and be back in a minute.
There are a lot of situations that are easily settled among each other as they are player disputes. Any proven violation of our community rules and game rules and code of conduct and TOS though will face consequences. These consequences are solely discussed with the player who faces them, not with the player who reported the other one. So while you may be under the impression nothing happened, something did. This can be anything from finding the player not guilty, not finding enough evidence (and going with the benefit of the doubt) or finding enough evidence and warn, temp ban, remove illegally obtained items, mute, perm ban etc.
So in all rage, lets be fair. We are just as unhappy that some players spoiled the fun for others as you are, no we are angry.
And while this event will continue as it is set up now, we will have to look for future events how to prevent this from happening again. We do not want to have to stop events and handing out free stuff just because some can not behave and act as community. I find it rather sad how a bit of greed and selfishness can ruin something fun and containing freebies for everyone of the community we all play in. Sadly not every player is a knight in shiny armor (or warden or scout or one of the other classes

)
