Weekend sales Dec 14-17 edition (Perfect Jewels)

The packages are:

1) Gold Package - 1 small puri pack, 5x master repair hammer, 15x +6 perfect jewels (5 of each) - 345 dias

2) Platinum Package - 1 small puri pack, 5x master repair hammer, 15x +12 perfect advanced jewels (5 of each) - 525 dias

3) Adamantium Package - 1 small puri pack, 5x master repair hammer, 15x +16 perfect enhanced jewels (5 of each) - 565 dias

Comments:

1) Nice to see perfects on sale in dia shop.

2) Packaging is awkward - there are 5 accessories, 8 armor and for most classes only one weapon. So, people will end up with extras and shortages. Smaller packages oriented toward particular gear class would be better.

3) Price seems unusually distributed, in that +16 are almost same price as +12. Also, bit on high side, IMO.

Still, I'll be buying some, for future. Never can tell when extra +16 will come in handy, and perfects are hard to come by otherwise.

Now, let's hear it from out QQ crowd. Go git em.

Not sure if I will get anything this time... nerfed Cedric is not offsetting a bit high price, imho.

I just wanted the +16 jewels. If new zone comes before I can even plus my new weapon, I will be very mad.
And what are Master's repair hammer? Are they upgraded versions of SImple master's repair hammer from gobs? Though either way, probably worthless.

So, with puris for 15 diamonds during usual puri sales, that leaves

18 diamonds per perfect +6 (which is about the same price as a stack of non perfects +6 during sale)
30 diamonds per perfect +12 (~half of a stack of regular +12's)
33 diamonds per perfect +16 (~ 1/3 price of a stack of regular +16's)

I'd say not really much of a discount here, since +12 and +16 rarely fail. +6 perfect is really all thats needed, and could be cheaper.

Really need a double (Translation: at leeast 100%, Frogster, not 90%, not 75%) diamonds though. Diamonds prices are now 65k per if you can even find a seller, though you always have the option to buy it for 85k per on AH...

I dunno I bought a few of the +16 packs simply because last time +16 weapon perfects were offered they were 440 rubies and after 22 +16 jewels failing (worst run ever and still was +15) I opened my wallet.

Really I was kinda expecting some sort of daily reset ticket sale.... still 11 days to go i guess.....

Agree, nice to see perfects for diamonds, and also agree to the skewed distribution, looks like i end up with extra weapon perfects, oh well. But gold package is only one worth buying.

Oh an we are getting a diamonds sale whoop whoop, oops wait 50%, damn sales department sucks. too hard to give 100% or 125%??

Keep your sale, tired of your , keep at it and see how many will be here after new year day. Oh i forgot it's the end of the world, let'S be greedy and bring all our money to hell.

Yep another friday and yet another fail weekend sale. Too hard to just get us puri packs alone, nooooo, shove these down our throat and you get a puri pack, sad, sad sale yet again. Do you guys alternate between the monkey and the frog? or you use randomness to see which one picks the right box??

Yes, Virginia, there are people who see sales on things they want and tell themselves to buy diamonds at that point. Those people fall into category of... "X and his money are soon parted. Solve for X".

Seriously, they really need to check that math on their backend. I'm sorry but $26 or even $18 seems like a lot for just refining jewels. I wouldn't mind them being a couple dollars each, that way I get a return in value but it literally costs about the same to buy 2 permanent mounts as 1 +16 package.

I agree there's definitely gonna be some left over jewels and things if you buy a pack and only have 1 character to use it on.

they really need to either lower the pricing of things (especially when they are in large packages) or do more diamond sales often again. for the level of quality and support that this game provides you seriously need to start lowering the costs of the item shop. its simply becoming too expensive for new or old returning players to help gear up for endgame.

Seriously Dio, we would rather no diamond sale then this 50% garbage. My money is once again safe in my account because you scrooges think you're doing us a favor. So as it stands $20 will get me one package and a whole lot of buyers remorse. You dont value or appreciate my money.

I agree, but as long as enough people on the servers are drinking the kool-aid, then we can complain all we want, but as we have seen, no changes will be made until people either quit buying diamonds or quit buying the sales items.

... or until people learn basic economics of buying low (as in, when diamonds are cheap due to being on good sale) and selling high (as in, when the value of diamonds is high due to items bough with diamonds on good sale). We used had people who are able to grasp the trading basics; sadly, lately we are saddled with people having less clue than Geithner.

Your pro Gameforge comments won't justify a $28 or $18 package, nor does it do anything to stop the population decline. You can't be a fan of a game that doesn't exist. The house is burning down and you're standing there saying "Well at least we had great smoke detectors, who cares if the wiring was faulty"

That's insane as hell, thanks for doing the math for me so I can not spend any real money on these. So if you buy 3 packs, that's like $75? Which only gives you enough perfect jewels to do a few items.... and you still need puris, drillers, and cleaners. So um... maybe $600 for 1 set of gear?

...really starting to hate this game. Actually I love this game, just not looking forward to ever buying diamonds or gearing unless I can buy it all with gold. I really feel sorry for the people buying diamonds for cash, unless they are rich, then I guess it doesn't matter.
