Ever since the gemini pet which is easy to achieve, all festivals have proven to be close to impossible to get a pet. I have not tried this festival yet mainly due to my massive loss in motivation from the large efforts i went through to get the others only to have failed miserably.

The ONLY other pet I've gotten was leo, and that was because I was lucky in getting a pet egg. Meanwhile there are probably a bunch of people that have thousands upon thousands of fire elements and nothing to use it on.

Has anyone been able to get either the stardust or the pet crystal for the zodiac pets yet? I've done all the events and haven't gotten anything for them.

There's a guy at the Christmas tree in Varanas central who will teleport you to an event area that's the same as harf, all you have to do is make it to the top of TOWW and there's a chest there, you get 15 elements each time and chance for a pet crystal as usual.

I don't know how everyone else feels but I have had the star sand and star diamonds to make a legendary fire pet since the first time fire was introduced (what was it 3 mos ago or so?) Anyways I think they need to change how all this works. For instance still have the Sand Elements drop from festival rewards but have the npc on Varanas bridge sell the Pet Crystals! OR add an option that transmuting 3 star diamonds without a pet crystal= pet crystal of that element. I don't mind spending diamonds getting transport runes for festival repeat tickets and the 70+ transmuter charges required but I'm sick of doing it for nothing. I mean if your going to offer a zodiac pet system at least have the decency to make the frigging pet attainable! I personally know people who have several hundred of each element of sand and have never received a crystal since this all started!

I feel they really missed the ball on the zodiac pets. After all if they made the elements and pet crystals a bit more common, then lots more of us would be using up all our AT charges to make them all. And then we would have to keep buying more AT charges and more diamonds to support our pet habit.

Oh and yeah that new frostland festival area totally blows!!

The key to that new frostland is to do it in a group. I did it with a fellow guildy and we had a blast trying to work our way around doing the quests, especially the energies in the roof tops took awhile but alot of fun. I am not sure howmuch work it is to get to the toww chest though so cant make any judgment on difficulty.
