Runes of Magic US / AU

A few people in my guild got around 1 extra item for every 10 packs so far. So while they are there, its just another horrible gamble.

The link to the forum with complaints about what their idea of pricing is the icing on the cake.

... also, notice how they aren't selling advance IVs for that price. Meaning they expect people to MAKE a tier IV Advance rune, or buy enough shield IVs to tier up to a VII and have you hope you get an Advance VII in a gasha.

I've always seen the Item Shop deals make people quit then rather play.

And this is exactly what the player base has been telling them since they took over, but unfortunately they don't seem to give a crap. Also find it funny that you get the main CM's editing 'profanity' etc from posts such as these but never respond.

It is to the point of hilarious, especially wording of so called 'deals'.

Gasha never was a deal, except once in past...

One thing that makes me wonder - no Sorcery runes since FA dismissal. Is there particular reason for that rune not being offered in tier VIII??

Shield VIII should not be anything more then 12 dias as rest of runes... someone got wrong impression how important that rune is for game...

Glad to see that if nothing else, they are consistently bad troughout year.

What are they going to respond with? "Sorry my bosses are heartless bastards"? Don't expect the hungry dog to bite his master's hand if he expects another meal. The CM's are just going to keep us forum dwellers occupied and semi subdued to prevent riot. I really wish we could find a way to speak directly to the company and not its lap dogs. Think about it, if a really big star makes a facebook account, that star does not look at that facebook account, his people do it. The only posts that star is going to hear about are the good ones, and the posts made by angry critics and stalkers are pushed into the delete folder. We are being pushed into the delete folder.

None of us want this game to disappear, we get on here and bitch because we care. We want your business to succeed. We need to know that this company is not just a company but filled with gamers just like us. We really loved the double xp this week, unfortunately a good % of low toons got stuck on a Morrock quest rendering the entire thing worthless. Merry christmas to all who was over level 60, and those below... here is your coal. Yes that is an unforeseen glitch, but things like this shouldn't happen with good programming. Who's doing a quality check on the programers work? That would be US! We the players/gamers/customers are your quality control and diagnostics team. Hell we do this for Free and hell most of us pay you for it. I would like for once to play a game to enjoy it, and not have to once run to a support page and say ______ is broken again and then have to wait and pray it gets fixed. The issue that consists of the standard crap sales is on behalf of Gameforge (The CM's etc) and not the programmers (they are responsible for the endless amounts of bugs).

Personally I don't believe there is a 'sales department' as with the old CM/GM's on AU server all the sales were dealt with by the CM..i don't know if its different with the US but I find it had to believe they have an entire 'team' just for the few sales they have every weekend...and as we all know they don't put much effort into the sales so I doubt Gameforge would be wasting money on an entire department.

Don't think there is actually a sales department. A long time ago a program was created that put random sales up with random prices some higher some lower and that program is still running.

There was job opening for sales intern about a year ago, just about time when Dio still was telling that we have separate sales department for NA and we saw start of really bad sales. Well, in a year not much changed except sales are everything except sales.

If you buy something from so called 'sales' you will not get any rubies, and rubies shop become too expensive for many to progress.

We all know and were telling to GM/CM that sales intern is killing game, but nothing good came out of it. Current low world population can be directly linked to mix of bad sales.

Part that really makes me mad is that GM should be leader - be responsive and proactive. There is no way that they could not tell if sale will create riot and rage quit or not. They should prevent some of bad sales and / or modify them to keep players that are still here happy and possibly to attract new customers.

Nothing of this is happening, they clearly showed us more then once that they don't care firstly about existing customers, and secondly about getting new customers. They knew how unpopular is binding too many items together in sale is, where for 1 item that you need, you have to buy 4 that will use 'space' in already too small CS bag. (how many times we asked for bigger one?!?!)

Game never will be better if they don't have influence on current/future sales, and many here doubt that they don't have any right in changing them.

I spend some dias here and there, but still nothing that will make me buy any more dias. Fail is fail...

there is a sales department. it's located in Germany for all of GF's games. None of them play the games they provide sales for... instead, from what I saw of the interview a LONG time ago was that the majority of them like fps's like CoD ( Call of Duty ). NONE of the sales staff listed Runes of Magic as a game they play.

that's like those awesome ads I hear on the radio where [whatever state]helpwanted.com has listings for nurses & the ad has a doctor grabbing a girl @ a photocopier to help him w/ a patient and she's all freaked out. That's what I envision GF & the sales staff is like... they're the doctor that needs good staff, but is willing to pull ppl off the streets just to have help.

At 99 diamonds for tier 4, that means it costs 12,375 diamonds to make a Tier 7. With the recent 150% diamonds, thats just $157 dollars for a tier 7 Shield, or if you're an endgamer with aggro issues, thats only $785 for a tier 8!

I'm getting the impression that they either never considered this, or do not have the math capabilities even if they did.
And Gasha sale is fail. We can't make it any clearer that gashas are the single most hated packaging in game.

But they sold them a lot... at least when we had those borked gotchas. (real name for gasha)

I really want someone to explain this to me... cause maybe i am just not getting it. Shield runes from what i know are useless with the exception of making recon runes right? That brings me to my head scracthing moment....

WHY!?!?!?!? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY even bother about shield runes? Why care about them? Why sell them?


Why not just sell recon runes. I just dont get it.
