support cannot help in this case because the problem is not a missing questitem or even "trigger item" as i'd like to call it , but you simply cannot talk to the NPC to hand your completed quest in. Thats for the first quest , Raid Plan, already. IF you manage to complete it (be one of the first 5 persons after maintenance - i have this one completed ) then there is Suprise Attack which simply will not start because the Centaur Horde thats supposed to come in and perform the actual attack is stuck at the slope just outside the behemoth head.

The only other way i can imagine except an actual fix by Runewaker would be to have the quest marked as already completed directly in the game database, but that's probably IT staff work not Customer Support - why they have not done this until now? Noone knows :/

So you're telling me that I'm most likely going to be stuck as a level 56 for the next 6 months while they figure this stuff out?

so am I with my toon on Dochas/DE , a server which OPENED after the quest line was already broken.

people are saying it has been broken since the last event was brought in so currently the hopes lie in the patch for the next update which will bring a different event with it for it to work again by itself - a complete fix by Runewaker would be much more appreaciated though ...

long story short: quick ppl can complete "Raid plan" (a few after each maint.) , noone can complete Suprise Attack until a patch either way.

Why don't we just take the people stuck on Raid Plan...

And push them past the quest!

Have to admit that was kind of full of win.

Why are you 56? You should make it to 60 on available quests, in Zandorya and back before it, in WC/SL/AV. RTG works Ok, so do degenerate elves.

It seems that the player did not use XP events, therefore level 56 sounds about right for Thunderhoof.

Yeah I try to avoid the exp events with my knight class, so many skills, so much TP to fuel them. Don't want to skip out on TP.

+1000 for the OP's list. It's not even everything that's "broken" in the game at this time. I'm still sticking by my earlier pledge that while I may still play there is absolutely NO WAY that I'm putting any more of my $$$ in the game until REAL fixes start getting implemented. If that means that RoM gets shut down in the next 3, 6, 12+ months then so be it.

I don't think I speak for everyone but for me it's very, VERY hard to want to "pay to win" when with all that's broken in the game makes it feel like it's not worth "winning" at. A lot of us are just hanging around for the social aspect, haven't hit our wall that forces us to give up or simply because we haven't moved on to something better. And believe me I know there's MUCH better games out there!

Quoted from "tmblake09;584490"

So many threads keep popping up saying one more thing has gone wrong in rom...and yet all we keep hearing is "we're working on it."

The main questlines are bugged in NUMEROUS places now (at least 5 that I can count). That is not even close to being acceptable, and it's been this way for months.

No more diamond vendors - One of the last free-to-play options gone from the game.

General item set skill bugs for dwarves - Seriously, we're having to find workarounds to get skills working now? That's pathetic.

Numerous elites STILL broken - r/m and m/r to name a couple.

Entire guild bank pages disappearing - deja vu of chest fiasco?

Siege - Not much more needs to be said, aside from still in beta after 3+ years.

Flo an' Andy no longer searchable? - Marketing for this game was already non-existent, but now this is gone? I guess it took too much effort.

Support - non-existent. The mass majority of people are only receiving automated responses with no resolution to anyone's tickets.

Expulsion of employees - including but not limited to probably the only person who actually listened to what we said and gave a damn (Dionaea).

Broken "redeem key" page on your own website.

Continuing to receive lesser treatment than other countries (i.e. no Score for More).

Level 75 material refining errors - Convenient since the level 75 crafted stuff, if successfully making peach or brown, are up there for the best in the game.

I can tell you the reason why your profit is going down, and it sure as hell isn't the diamond vendors. More and more people are continuing to leave the game - the last people you had who have stuck through years of crap. It's just not worth hanging around anymore when we continue, time and time again, to be disappointed. At least we used to have fun amidst the disappointment. Now, even that has been taken away. Prices go up, bugs multiply, and the playerbase dwindles. Yet all we continue to hear is, "We're working on it."

That has always been a wrong argument, continuously repeated and continuously shown to be wrong. I am too lazy to explain it again in this pathetically sad sack of a thread, but don't do that, you are only hurting yourself.

I don't see how it's 'wrong'. I spent my extra exp days on my warden :)

IKR Rusty? I dont know why it is so hard to figure how higher level dailies and monsters = more tps you can get per day which balances out in the end. After all really 1-2 skills really need to be maxxed. 5 pts in a skill does not make or break your class. The last 5 pts being extremely more expensive then others.

My rogue i leveled mostly on double exp events. Thanks to the better dailes i easily got to max out 4 skills that are important to me and the rest put them to 60-65 which is more then enough.

I guess Rusty that people that think that way just want an excuse for why they probably arent good at the game and the "i didnt have enough TPS, it is all that Double exp events fault!" makes them feel better. It is either that or they hit max level and stop doing their dailies/hunting. Just sayin.

2x, 3x, etc... exp days are kinda essential now that parts of critical quest lines are broken.

& you really should use 'em since you still gain TP from killing mobs, turning in quests, dailies, etc... TP is kinda unlimited. I think one of my guildies is pretty much maxed out w/ over 4 or 5 mil tp left to spend.

I can always use more TP darnit. And, I want the skills that I use to match my level at the very least. So, yeah, I do not quest on XX exp days...sorry. Note: this is not on my level capped toons where it does not matter, but the ones where they are maybe 6 months away from being capped; it is my preference to not have a lvl 65 toon running around with lvl 55 skills.

If you don't skip quests, you don't lose out on TP. Simple.

If you gain 10 levels instantly and then just jump to the quests at the level you're now at, skipping the ones in between, of course you'll be short on TP. If you do them all, even when you're level capped, you'll end up with the same amount of TP as you would have without double exp.

Or, to save that quest exp for later or another class, you could just spend a week catching up on the missed TP through dailies. TP is easier to get than XP, in the long run, especially when quest chains are broken, or you're working on a secondary/tertiary class.

I used to think like that too, but at higher levels the increase in skill power per TP spent is tiny and a new weapon makes a lot of difference.
I'm finally within sniffing distance of hitting the level cap on an alt toon simply because of a new weapon & using the Christmas XP event to rush through Redhill Mountains & Tergothen Bay. :)
