In that case we're all doomed!!! Remember the "free" 300 diamonds they gave out about 2 years ago when we were having all the house chest and other issues? THAT was a fiasco!

On another note it would be nice to have some sort of ETA on when things might be back up. Or at least some sort of acknowledgement via forums/Twitter from a CM/GM on what's up. Obviously someone is aware there is a problem since Reni & Osha are down.

I would rather that they be focusing on fixing the server rather than browsing the forums, but tbh they have to have at least a few people that aren't actually working on the servers. It wouldn't be too hard for a CM to write a simple comment or announcement to let us know they're making progress. They are, after all, supposed to be the communication link between players and Gameforge/RW.

Most other games have that I'm not sure why they aren't live with fixes. I mean yeah they'll post on Facebook when server maintenance will occur, but otherwise they're pretty shy.

its seriously not that hard to reboot a server. even if the dang thing is fried just spin up a new VM on a different server and point the login to that server. come on now...

Yeah... but it has given me time to look at other games. I hear a few are going F2P this month so that might be something to look into

When the servers came down, there was a "coming down" countdown, right?

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Yes, there was a 5 minute countdown, but I am beginning to think it was an automated script created due to server issues whenever there is an error requiring a reset. Now comes the rub, is there anyone there to reset them?

Well, yeah. The servers can crash and we can lose connectivity and not have any idea what is going on. But a shutdown process is more orderly, meaning someone is trying to figure out what is going on. So, there being shutdown is good news, over a crash.

Still, some kind of message is overdue. Techies usually don't talk much, but 1-2 sentence update on status would be nice.

Rebi and Osha down. Any word?

As of this post, Osha and Reni have been down 155 and 154 minutes, respectively. Is there any word on whats going on or expected downtime?

Edit: Ooops, I misspelled Reni in the title.
