Reni is messed up.. again.

Apparently channel 3 Reni has turned into a PvP server, and yes, you can drop gear.

I saw at least 1 person in Varanas on Ch1 say that had been attacked w/o PK mode enabled. But I haven't ventured into Ch3. Apparently several ppl have lost gear & items to others.

So yeah great the server goes down on Sunday, comes back up for a few hours on Monday, gets a patch early Tuesday and is now at least partially a PVP server now. I also heard that Ch1 in the new zone also has PVP turned on by default now. Splendid! :mad:

Reni now PVP?

Ok ... So WTF is going on? ..... seems that on 2 of the 3 channels on Reni its open PVP.

Was there some changes that RoM didnt tell us about (would be normal since we are never really informed about anything ) or did they just screw up again (also very normal with RoM).

Some insight would be nice for a change!

I dont believe this was the intension of the patch........ But with goofforge behind the wheel anything is possible except fast support responses or quest fixes

when u get gear to drop that is, not when u loose something LMAOFFFFF lol lol

Major screwup, yes. My guess is that Reni and Osha had to be rebuilt when they went kaboom this monday and the rebuild did not use right template or configuration file. I sense quick server reset tomorrow. Hopefully.

Supposedly they "learned" from their mistakes on Sunday/Monday...guess Reni will see if they're going to hold up to that or not.

It does seem a bit odd though that Osha has no such issue even though it was a part of the server explosion. A few people are missing things, but nothing like this. Apparently whoever was working on Reni wasn't paying attention. >.>

My guess is that servers had to be rebuilt or replaced, and reni got PVP server configuration file. Osha went as planned.

I sense another downtime on ole Reni.
