It's been awhile since I was in a PL party in TOSH-E. The first couple of times it was with a mage doing the kite routine on the bugs, my main was about 45 priest, my alt was ~lvl 34 (Wl/M/R) or so. With full (100%) XP/TP pots and then-available guild buff tower buffs, XP was 15-20K per small bug offed, level advancement was very fast to about 50, slowed down considerably after that. I seem to recall there were 4 others in the party, mage was lvl 72 at the time.
Was also in a PL party a bit later (same alt, different class, lvl 30-ish) with a 72 rogue doing the kiting. Similar XP ganied, though it was slower since rogues simply don't have a reliable AoE and they pretty much have to kill each small bug individually. They also tend to get themselves killed more often than an AoE kite mage does.
I haven't done it since then, so I have no data on what the XP/TP difference might be with a 77 kiter doing the grinding. Mileage *will* vary depending on the numbers and levels of the rest of the toons in the party.
From comments made in guild voice chat, it can be a mind-numbing (and hand-numbing) chore for the kiter, regardless of the class, and it does take practice to be able to do it well and consistently.
You do have to pay attention and not be AFK. If the kiter screws up and gets killed, *everyone* else needs to be low-running for the exit as fast as their little legs will carry them.
Mucho grats to Grimwind, Evotaliesin, and Cocheech for doing the grinding for me, and also helping getting my main's priest class leveled at the time. When *I* didn't croak, I was at least able to toss out heals and rezzes when necessary.
