If being handed the chance to ridicule Rusty on a silver platter isn't justification enough, what is?

You know the forum mods are out drinking Jameson and green beer when this many of my posts get left on the forum for this long. Slainte

It would be complicated, but the sooner they get rid of the problem the better it will be for the community

I agree but with junk stat prices as close to puri cost as they've been since before the inflation from illicit gold purchasing, history shows us there's lots of room for prices to increase. I won't be coming back to the game for a few weeks still but I'd prefer not to come back to a borked economy. A fix that completely gets rid of botting would be ideal but they need to offset the negative effects in planning first.

Silly jester. Following the rules and procedures is boring. It is something for regular people to do. When you are special, you can follow your own rules and make your own processes for how to get things done. Sure, you might not be doing it the way that all those people do things, but that is for little people. The little people rules don't apply to you.

That is horrible, and I hope the person who was doing that was finally banned. Well, I hope worse things happened to him than that, but that is outside the game. In game, banning is all that can be done.

During the rush of gold botters, there was a system proposed that if enough players report someone as being a problem, that person would be silenced based on those reports, and then unsilenced if investigation proved that he was not breaking rules. Essentially, a way for a group of people to exercise limited GM powers. Essentially, a form of citizen arrest (hope, this makes sense to you, wiki says Australia has similar concept). There were strong arguments that it would be prone to abuse, and in some way it would be. Still, one can design a system that would get creeps like you mentioned off the server right away and leave honest disagreements somewhat safe.

It has already been said by many people that there have been several times where people call hacks on the forums. If you have no evidence/experience with the alleged hacking what is the point?
I'm sure Borella has been accused of hacking before, you wanna go after him?
^ Shows that you know your previous statements about wiffo are bs

after reading this thread from post 1 to post 48 ,i must say what is wrong with some people?
botting is not allowed or sanctioned...........no argument of economy is valid..............botting is against the rules end of story.
this thread is about botting and not about siege exploits.

but you also have to look at the other side of the coin. (first time using that analogy, eww :p)
, though it would have been even better to see an estimate of what the total number of botters was and how that number is changing. Banning is a temporary fix, I hope rw/fs understand that. I understand that there will always be botters in the game, but rw/fs can also do things that can significantly reduce the numbers. Greater communication even if it is incorrect communication (don't lie to us though pls
) like Swag's is necesssary
and is putting forth good ideas such as how the economy sorta kinda partially depends on botters
. Doesn't have to be official or anything, as long as we get communication from the higher ups who have more perspective on the game's devs/publishers we can start forming a relationship with the community to help solve these types of community problems

There was a toon on Reni who decided to use a mega to tell a very crude and gross sex joke. Never heard of the guy, so I inquire right away as soon as I read it. Offline already. And I have not seem on since. Geee, I wonder what happened to him.
Delta got unbanned, looks like. Let's see how long that lasts.
Oh, and that "called out for hacking", I imagine, is the deleted thread, right? Didn't get to read it before it got removed, but I imagine the kid displayed the same manners and flair for language as he did trash talking in SW itself.
Sad to say, I can't claim the exclusive distinction - he was accusing half the guild of hacking. Was very disappointing. Usually, being accused of hacking in SW is a sign of distinction, meaning that you are doing something well enough for losers to suspect you of doing too well. But, when you are accused by someone who suspects everyone and their granma, what's the point? Shame that sertet was not in that SW (he is member of same guild). I was never a big fan, but at least he had some brain cells.

As for OP and Taz bot - I really don't care. Game is harder and harder for people to prosper with declining player base and rare newb players. Hard to make any gold on server, and yet DIAS at rising in price, gear is selling for more and more, at least mage's gear.
