I knew this would come eventually, but I beilieve that the way in which it was nerfed was too extreme. My idea was to do something like this:
The current(nerfed) Ice Blade
Ice Blade+77(Instant / CD: 3seconds) - Turns magic into a knife blade to attack the target causing 602.5 points of water damage. When you have frost halo, damage is increase by 10%.
My suggested version
Ice Blade+77(Instant / CD: None[GCD]) - Turns magic into a knife blade to attack the target casuing 602.5 points of water damage. When you have frost halo, damage is increased by 10%. (For players, casues 392.5 points of water damage)
IMO, my version would have been a better choice. Two reasons behind that would be that their pve status remains unharmed. The other reason is that it's still spammable, but deals 35% less damage. (120k ice blades become 78k ice blades / 80k ice blades become 58k.) This would make it so you would just have to ice blade a time or two more to kill your target, but also gives your target a "little" more time to react. This way everyone's happy. P/S's damage is a little more reasonable, and they're not broken as they are now when it comes to attacking.
These are still just my opinions. I know some will agree, while some disagree. I just wish they would have done something similar to my suggestion if they were going to nerf it. They went too far with their idea imo.

I have been thinking about this a lot the last few days and I honestly think I have come up an everyone wins solution:
make IB like certain heals against players. Meaning consecutive hits on same target lose damage potential linerally with the number of times cast on player
1st 100%
2nd 75%
3rd 50%
4th 25%
5 plus 10%
reset on new target, make the p/s still able to 1 shot lesser players, but also makes them have to target multiple people to stay at full damage.
Thoughts?

Never seen how anyone could put out a survey like this. It is not so much a survey as a lynch mob. Only options are how to wreck the skill. Not a single option on how to make it more effective or an option to leave it alone. Any legitimate survey would not predispose the answer is to nerf the skill as this one does and then only offer options on how to destroy it.
Running a survey like this one is like walking down the street and having someone offer you the options of immediately be shot or stabbed but not one to be left alone. Then publishing the survey by saying everyone wants to be stabbed or shot.
My characters do not have that skill, so I don't use it.
I have seen many characters use it and even more figure out how to beat it. But it is far easier to complain and destroy what someone else has than to work hard and learn to use what you have.
