This one statement right here. This proves you know nothing. You need say nothing else at all to prove you are wrong. My proof of this? %mana cost. The end.

every class goes through their big nerf period, i'm glad we got ours out of the way early!
~optimistic scout
wait a min...this ain't even on topic anymore...and it wasn't my fault this time...
Quoted from "SkyFyre;596968"
Scouts didn't get an early nerf, it was chapter 4 before they got one after getting fixed in chapter 2.
This is still on topic actually, because RW needs to recall the 3 sec cd for IB and obviously didn't test this nerf just like they didn't with the %mana one.

Which was overturned within... what a week? Would you also say the runewaker then is the same runewaker now? Or do you think the main programmers are still the project leads on this game and havent migrated to DP?
How long did it take them to nerf p/s? how long were they working on this fix for? Usually after they adjust things they are fixed. So who isnt to say they never tested P/s accurately at the beginnng and this is the "fix". Have they ever "fixed" something and then adjusted it back up? Besides mana %, which would have stayed if the whole community didnt stand. Problem is, you dont have the whole community. You have less than half of it. You have the board warriors for the most part.
My thought is they did test it. They got the exact result they were going for. Which means my statement is accurate. They intended to do this to p/s. That is different from breaking it, which is why they call it "Nerfing" it.
Breaking it would be more an unintentional response to a patch. OOps. Them hitting you with a nerf hammer isnt breaking the class it is nerfing it. When other classes are nerfed they dont call it breaking it, they call it nerfing it. They probably did test it and got the EXACT thing they wanted to get. Your point should be that they are wrong in what they want not that they didnt test it. Or do you think they didnt intend to nerf the class to the stone age?
Going around going "they didnt test this OMG", "they broke me"... is just plainly inaccurate. They nerfed you, on purpose, they wanted you to be exactly how you are.
The key is to convince them that their opinion is wrong... not that they didnt test it......
which is why you know nothing.

Again, you are thinking they tested it. You think they tested the % mana nerf too. That was a nerf too, not an oops as you seem to think. If they had tested that one as you imply, then they would have known that it effectively killed priests too. They had no idea. They had no idea with this one either. Seems a recurring theme... "KILL THE PRIESTS, THEY ARE TOO OP!"
But ya know, rogues and wardens don't one hit kill anyone in SW...

I'm sure they tested the big fail mountain in Merhdin too lol... totally looking as intended
Unlikely that they nerfed P/S because they tested it. If that was the case, they wouldn't have waited 4 years to nerf it.
I highly doubt that would go back to all the class combo's and test it to nerf OP ones. Otherwise, you'd be saying that all the 70% fail/broken classes are "working as intended" too. I'm sure that they were all intended to be fail and RW saw no problems with it when they "tested it".
Quoted from "Borella;596929"
Agreed. I don't know how you can use "RW tested it so they must have known it wouldn't break it" as an argument. Anyone who has played this game more than a month knows that RW breaks things constantly and it is quite obvious they never test anything.
% mana cost
Broken quests EVERY content release
GCD on casted skills
Wardens broken for years after they were released
Druids broken for years after they were released
Scouts broken for most of a chapter
Scouts nerfed to the ground after being OP
W/M overpowered when elites released
Mage weapons broken since KBH, seems that that path will be continuing
And many, many, many more.

E...xactly. The nerf was obviously not tested. The only reason it was needed is because of the 70 plus page long nerf ice blade threads with less than 10 people over the span of 70 pages actually saying it was op. if it was actually op, they wouldn't have waited 4 years to nerf it.

I am saying it is WORSE than that. I am saying it had nothing to do with incompetance in this case. I think that they let the class stay the way it was, let people spend money to gear them up, let it stay and the top and then NERFED THE DAYLIGHTS out of it on PURPOSE.
WHy you may ask?
Money. (please Borella dont freak out when i bring up scouts, just please read it). They let Scouts go so long, I believe to get people to reroll scouts. SO they would buy resets, gear them up and spend money where they may not have had there not been such an OP class. Then when they thought as many people had spent as much as they would..... They nerfed it. In hopes that people would then spend money again to reroll.
See you say they didnt test it, this was all a mistake. I think it was on purpose to squeeze more money outta the player base. You all are naive enough to think it was an oops and not a tactical move for money.
