Runes of Magic US / AU

I like how everyone jumped to PVP nerf immediately while there is no statement by anyone ever about the reasoning for any changes (extremely rare in some cases). Hell I rarely even saw a QQ about s/wdn charged chop because of the fairly long cooldown. If there is a nerf it'd be the champ/mage wide area nuke they have. I've never seen so many people die in an instant even in boss fights. (and yes, I am jelly cause that must be hella fun to pop)

Will be interesting to see. I have been wondering over the last couple of months why the highest level eggs I've been able to pull from Medhrin Tundra and associated areas was a level 5 egg.. Really hoping to see some (much) higher level ones.

There's a blog out there (that I will not link) that has additional info on the cavy system. In the past basically every from Silverspring to the Aotulia Volcano zones dropped cavies from lvl10-40 (increasing in level as the zone level requirement increases) but EVERYTHING beyond AV only dropped cavies lvl 1-5. So it'll be interesting to see if anything lvl 40+ drop anywhere now.

Since I'm rarely ever in the Savage Lands or AV I almost never bothered to catch cavies. That might just change.

Enough with the incest of the Rogue Class. Give Hide a CD and 25pt energy use. Give lb a CD too. Then we can all have parity at the qq pool. Cheers

Hamster jokes are old, and actually quite wrong in this case.

The patch brought back the daily reset glitch that we had last year. Hence why EU was up, then brought back down. Servers are down so no one will take advantage of it like last year. 12 hours to fix seems appropriate, since they'll most likely have to create another patch to fix the problem.

So don't expect to be online today, unless they're really on top of things, their fix may take awhile.

In other news, does anyone remember the daily reset glitch back in early chapter 3 where dailies would reset like crazy around midnight central time each night? They also sometimes did it at random other times during the day (so I was told) but for a few weeks at midnight stuff like in this picture would happen for a while. Those were fun times!

Yeah, I remember those days/weeks/months of MULTIPLE Daily Resets...almost as if a disgruntled ex-GM was spamming the Daily Reset Button, just to stick it to his/her bosses at that time...lol.

yea I remember that. it reset at in game sunrise, wich happens several times a day in game. I wasn't even aware of dailies at the time I was brand new player at the time. that would be sweet to have for a few weeks.

Turtle and LV, shooshies. No one deserved a nerf Hugs to both of you. It's par for the course though, take the class that was already OP and make it better, and nerf the useless ones harder. R/M needed to be fixed, but it was already waaaaaay more than viable.

And, iunno, I wonder at the wisdom of leaving the servers down for 20+ hours to avoid people using unlimited daily resets. In a way, it would be better for player morale to just say hey, have at it while we fix things kiddoes, like they did with the reset bug back in Chap 3. That went on for months, and Froggy survived the hit to their pocketbook, which was probably negligible anyway- people with leveled toons spend dias on gear. A few hours of dailies would not kill their profits even for the month. Losing some players to other games downloaded in the meantime, on the other hand....

Well, no one asked me lol. I would settle for just being able to level my toon the normal way, online, but apparently RoM and the Universe want me to get some sleep. Meh.

Is there confirmation that this is why the servers are down? I could not imagine a retail store mgr, upon finding his Point Of Sale machines are giving every customer 10% off, deciding to close the doors to the store. Just boggles the mind if this was the thinking.

Although I'm sure some will point out that they wouldn't just be losing out on daily reset ticket purchases, they would also not have ppl buying AT charges and pretty much anything else that's available via the token shop. However, I know I probably would end up buying a bunch of diamonds (through the AH but w/e) on re-rolling and re-gearing a toon. Not to mention making sure my main is 77/77/77 and most likely re-gearing his W/K side as well since it's all Ch4 or earlier gear/stats.

But instead I'll keep meandering along as a W/M primary until something else I find more interesting comes along...

So is it too soon to start begging for an xp event since the servers are down for so long?

Lets see, nerf the war/mage because rogues can't out dps them anymore, nerf the priest/scout because rogues were qq about being 1 shotted by omg a priest, nerf the s/wd because for once a scout had an opportunity to actually see a rogue in hide and make a legitimate attempt to kill them. Why should any other toon in Rogues of magic have the ability to one shot anyone? Why should any class at all in this game have the ability to hit someone with 350k pdef for 100k-300k with an instant cast skill with nothing but a gcd. Why not just give everyones skills that are "op" ie Iceblade, Lowblow, flame, fireball, charged chop, magma blade etc etc a 1 second cast time with a 15 second cd? You wanna lvl the playing field, so that everyone can enjoy the game, then level the whole dam thing. Not one class, not two classes, but every single one. How about a 1 second cast time on shadow prison, lightning, silence and movement restriction? Supposed to be a level playing field right? How about a 1 second cast time on wd charged chop oh and better give it a 3 second cd also, just to make it fair. Hell you may as well make it so only rogues can go into sw wearing anything other than white gear, because every single "nerf" that comes along is to benefit the rogue anyway.

wonder if they will send me "241005 Mysterious Rune Bag"s if I send in a ticket.... I opened a bunch of them after the Fire Festival ended, which generated nothing.... So happy about the Rune eggs levels change. Have no idea what the Masked Ball quest is....we haven't had the Mask Ball Festival in like over 2 years... What is with the adjustment to GG's chests? How is it possible to even open it if you go offline? is it saying now that if we crash, we can resume where we were? Coz before, it'll just kick you out of GG & the guy just says you've already done GG today... =(

Well, I don't see anything different about Snoop -- I tried him at Varanas, Silverfall, Rorazan, Chryslia, Medhrin Tundra, Obsidian Stronghold, and a few other places.. I guess Snoop is client-side.

Goblin Games:

1) Sitting down does NOT prevent you from changing into a little green goblin anymore. You'll be green and LIKE it! (Well, I do like the way they jump)

2) When opening the chests that contain the Phirius Shells, I get a message "SC_240181_02"

3) When a chest spawns (that contains the shells), it says my name "Southern" in my chat window, but nothing else.

I didn't notice anything else different. The last 2 are almost certainly patch related, but the first one -- well, just get used to being green & slimy.
