Down for another 12 hours -- Discuss

From Facebook:

Runes Of Magic
[Update]

We're still working on it, currently we can't give an ETA when the servers will be back live. The servers will stay offline for at least 12 hours.

As long as they do it right, I honestly don't care how long the servers are down for.
For you to live or die is in my hands, In Gigi we trust.

Gives me some time to do homework...which is playing other video games ;)
I'm with Gigilo, so long as they do it right, I'm ok with them keeping the servers down.

I just made this post so ppl could "discuss" the downtime and leave the Patch Notes thread for patch notes. :)

Except this patch may or may not conflict with the new one you'll be getting soon. Hope you have your region set to the right settings or you may get a bugged patch for doing this.

Good. Maybe people will realize how beautiful life without RoM is.

If they were capable of reverting a patch they would have done so already. The fix is likely a patch on top of this patch.
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.

lol, LAME ROM

they really should have waited for April 31st to release their patch as they have stated :)

every patch they have seemed to have always fail or comes with several more glitches to add to the tons of unresolved problems still ingame...

Gameforge has done a better job than (Chapter 4-era) Frogster has done at getting things fixed in my opinion.

Maybe Ch4 Froggy, just maybe...

However, I'd rather have some extended down-time during a maint. then have things royally messed up and ppl start talking about a "rollback" or anything of that nature.

Leave the rollbacks to Wal-Mart. I just want to play a game that isn't completely broken. I know this is asking a lot at times. :D
WTB name change on my alt toon due to P/S IB nerf.

Guess they spent so much time figuring out how to nerf the scouts the didn't have time to do the maintenance.
