I'm redownloading the entire game anyways. Was getting some graphics glitches before the patch so I might as well.
Why do I have to have the Gameforge Live Client anyways? It seems like a middleman for the rest of their games, none of which I would even consider playing nor am I interested in seeing any information about. No added functionality for me, no added features for me, no extra information about the game for me. WIFM?

You don't HAVE to, that's just the only one available on the RoM website.. There's a thread here that has the regular old "Full Client" in it, along with all the patches to get it up close to the current patch level.

You can also download the plain old Full Client directly from http://download.frogster-online.com/RoM/…0_2535_full.exe and patch it up to the latest version if you like.

The 5.0.5 client is currently the newest one available and is the version that the GameforgeLive downloader will install.
However, the links provided let you install without GameforgeLive.

There is no 'slim' client anymore.
