Current Worth-while Statting

I didn't know where to ask this question as it doesn't pertain to any specific class but rather to this current chapter. I have been acquiring a Boro Boro set, Mementos Jewelry (Assault) set, and Paicha set. I am still a handful of pieces away from completion of all sets but I wanted to ask about general consensus on what to stat them.

I am currently lvl 69/50 Ch/R. I'm not looking to become OP but rather have a good set of gear that will definitely help me out in later instances as well as be valuable in current instance I get runs in, such as RT bronze and up. To achieve this I have been gathering these pieces (though I know outdated) that I will use for my first clean stated gear and move away from my current dirty stated Hunter's armour, Dilan'y jewelry, and WA secondary set.

The main thing I wanted to ask was what is the minimum tier stats/instance stats w/e that I should stat these with? I will for sure use shell stats to do my OD pieces but for my non OD pieces that I hope to replace sometime before acquiring an endgame set of gear what is Okay to stat them with?

I was thinking about squeezing through some Grafu Castle runs or Sardo to try and get together a handful of Castle Stats as well as possible Hero Stats from getting into runs for these instances' normal mode. However, I don't want to to do this if it is much more reasonable to take the god awful amount of time to acquire the pieces I want from shells...

I'm open to any thoughts on what would be the best route... Personally I think castle would be fine, seeing that I'm not trying to get end game off of this gear but rather to hold me over for a long time so I can piece together what I want for near end game.

The newer bag stats and the ones from Crysillia are better than grafu stats pretty much on par with heros. personally Id use those as they are cheap and easy. T6 the gear will easily get you geared enough for higher level runs and save your good stats for the better gear.

Hello. The Crystalia stats were already mentioned and are by far the best in terms of good & easy to get. On par with Hero/Glorious stats and they sell for around 200k per on Artemis. Or if you have guildmates lvl 75+ they should be free - it's just that easy to get.

Put them on any old gear you like. Preferrably OD. RT would be fine if you do that, or HoS/ZS/DL. Honestly the gear doesn't matter much, just throw on enough stats to make sure your questing doesn't get bogged down by not being able to kill stuff. Dirty statting, not purified fusions.

Concentrate on leveling more than gear until you get to, I'd say, lvl 75. After 75, then you can get what I call "good filler" - not end game stuff, but like KBN easy, shells gear, or EoJ pulls (OD of course). This would be clean statted. Then replace that later on with the actual end game stuff, or as close as you're going to get.

Only OD gear can be used, but not even that one for long... While leveling, getting shells and tries at OD shell gear (or now PoM for this week) will get you much farther then GC/SC gear.

Lowest level shell gear is 72 I believe. OP is lvl 69 currently.

Right idea, but a bit too early to be moving to clean statting. Save that for 75+. And move your dirty statting to the better stats - no Castle/Tomb/Imprisonment/Crimson/etc.

Thanks guys, I had forgotten about the X stats. Yeah, I should be able to get a handful of those easily from guildies, some try to farm them and I'm good with them, so I'll get em to hold me some.

Any ideas on what to do with crappy shell stats? I get Str/Dex all the time, though dex is good for my Shadow Stab (an additional .2 x dex dmg) I don't get but the usually Acc and Dodge from dex. I use my Str/HP stats I pull but mainly look for Str/Patk and Stam/Patk obviously

If latest stats, then you can use them to rise tier. Fails can be used in AT to be pushed off by position in AT. Or just sell them, but they don't sell well, do they?

Also, high level quest gear is pretty decent, and being quest gear it is free. I stat my alts with quest gear and 3 X stats and that makes them pretty survivable for what I need them for - gathering, shell running, mento farming.

My preference and advice is stat only as far as you need to survive questing, get to level cap, then start real gearing. That means you don't need to stat much if you are not dying. Also means tons of hand me downs or loaners from guildies if you are in good guild. Statting is expensive, and you want to go through as few generations as possible. That X-statted or hand me down stuff can serve you well while you make/buy/farm the gear that you really want.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

At level 50, start running one or two minigames each day to gather Phirius Shell Gear. Either sell the stat if you get a good one or consider Statting the item with more stats from Phirius Shells.

At the time I hit 50 on my Mage, I pulled a 117 dura set of Mage shoulders which I pulled more stats to transfer to and I still wear to this day. That was back when level 67 items could be bought...
Still, when I was finally able to wear them, my magic attack went up considerably.

Do what you must do to 'get by' but prepare for later. ;)

Guild or friend to run you trough GG will help. Some of them are quite hard at the level, but they pay nicely.
