Hmmm, well excuse me. Let me Re-phrase. If I was mentering someone and gave that kind of a response to a simple question, I think my mentoring days would be over. It really is important for us to know if there is maintenance because like I said it is the only time we can kill the spider to use the item for the Level 60 elite skill. So if there was no maintenance the polite and correct thing to do in my opinion is to let people know. I do not think it was a stupid question at all, it was a question that deserved an answer not a dismissal

Monsieur Kroagnon obviously severely overestimates the deductive abilities of some induhviduals. There are quite a few people here who would be challenged by "are you smarter than 1st grader" show.

Personally, I just want information given in a venue like this. I'm not doing this as a job, and I schedule my time to maximize my ROM time. I submit that it is not unreasonable to ask for an ETA on maintenance, which is normally on Tuesday. In the business world, if I had a meeting that was normally scheduled at a particular time on a particular day, I would be fired for dereliction of duty should I not inform the participants that it would not be taking place. I don't expect to be Sherlock Holmes and waste my valuable time and energy on deductive reasoning. I may as well try to guess the number of angels dancing on the head of a pin.

Perhaps you missed the part where I indicated that I am not doing this as a job. I do expect that the employees of Gameforge do their job, which should include communication to their customer base.

Not sure why people are being so cynical towards the guy who asks a simple question. Maintenance has always been on Tuesday, hence it is reasonable for him to make a thread and ask why there isnt one today. I personally know many people who have to make plan to be online on Tuesday morning right after maint so they can get es 60 from mandara, which can only be killed once a week for months now. Also not all people read the forums. Why not make an announcement at the launcher if there will be a maint?

No announcememt = no maint. I dont believe they should have to announce the obvious.
