magical AND physical :)

oh btw siege seems to start at 6pm aka NOW in europe instead of 8pm - just a heads up.

If yours ends up being 2 hours earlier, I sure hope our side gets the same. :)

REally? Win xD

As if I wasn't hard enough to kill already. <3 63% magical damage taken decrease... win! This also makes R/K more OP as well.

If only I could equip a shield that is ;)

this whole "price gauging" is a non-issue if people would actually use their f'n brain. I can call up for whatever awesome price i deem appropriate for my hard farmed gear, period.

But noone says anyone NEEDS the stuff in the first place except people's ego.

"oooh but this piece which i can get for free without ever visiting a hard instance is 2-5% worse !!!!! OMFG need to buy the newest hardmode stuff"

need gear? use your brain. everyone.

X XI stats, shell stuff, EOJ stuff, memento gear on level caps from previous instances (9 mil for a LD Dim Light too much? use the damn memento 77 one - oh but you COULD get umptybillions if you have enough luck to pull OD for your DoD farmed mementos? then 9 mil for a dim light is a non issue. For do-it-yourself use the stuff thats available. )

Even easier with todays patch, blue 80 open world drops are USEFUL for lower players AND have yellow XIs 129/xxx stats on it. AND green level78 gear becomes tier5.

just go get it. if you want the absolute best stuff yesterday, pay the damn price or fast-equip yourself for 90% of the best peoples values and STILL steamroll through instances - but it could possibly take like 10 minutes longer, oooh :/

seriously ...

What you cannot buy is a brain, a working team, time and dedication. This is the edge others have who are able to coordinate and rightfully so. Yeah, ok, a brain not all the time , but you get what i mean :p

Fair price is fair price. Like stuff that drops off the last boss. However, recently I was seeing LD Dim LIghts in our AH for 15-25 mil... You telling me you don't think that is price gouging? I get that there are some items that even underdura are hard as a mofo to get and then yes worth more. However, there are those that believe their items are worth far more than "fair price". Anything I sell I try to get what I know is a fair price not "as much as I can get it for". There is a difference. This is where I would turn around you "brain" comments. Personally, I don't care what people sell for. I get my gear I need, when I need it and pay what I want for it. However! That does not mean the average new player would be willing to do the same. If you care about this game and want to see it succeed, more people giving a chance to those willing to put the extra effort in are truly the good ones. Hence my post, Zidlef (who I don't usually praise), could just go, nah you all can buy it from me for what I think is fair. Instead he says if you gear up somewhat (like you said) that they would be willing to help. Not stand on the soapbox of "it is worth what I think my time is worth". Not many would do that, and while there is nothing bad about people deciding to not help the game continue... The ones that do need to be given props where they are due.

Absolutely no fixes for scouts, nerf to the range of some bows (yes some bows did have 220 range).

Nerf to pretty much all xbows (which many were previously 200 range).

I don't know what I expected... but I guess it was far too much. Because I don't even know what to say here.

I was just thinking that, I know I haven't played r/k in over a year but I was like "hmmm can't use a shield" in fact neither can a s/k if I remember right.

Oh true. Totally didn't even think about that. Forgot you have to have a shield. Thank god... cause R/K is hard enough to kill as it is xD

Anyway, also Warden pet buff stacking is back? Why? Wardens were already the best sw class and pretty overpowered in both PvE and PvP. What was the point in giving their pet stacking back? I guess we'll have to wait and see... but siegewar may be Runes of Wardens now.

did not understand it fully because ive never been a warden but i was told you can "choose" which of the buffs you want , and W/S would get Chiron on top. But not all 3 buffs.

I was thinking the same. Part I don't get is the notes list it as a bug fix yet I'm pretty sure when it last changed it was a also a patch note in itself, not a bug. I know a few Wardens that are gonna be happy all the same...

well people should stop complaining how to get endgame gear and they can't run this and these instances. Use Shell gear, shell stats and start running stuff.

I Call to all low level guilds who have a few endgame geared people, never enough to run the big instances. If you wanna run with me and Disturbed and do TOSH, GCH, KBNH, SC, whisper us on RENI. We will try to make it work and will make it fair to all who comes. We will not trio of 6 man these, but we can easily do it over and over again in 12 man groups, yes we will have to run it a 100 times so everyone gets his share of the gear, but hell this would be cheaper than 200M pieces of gear ;-)

We have friends in different guilds, some who will come and help with the strat, prepare to die, to suffer dura loss and use hammers, but we can do this. You know that i will make sure everyone gets their share of the loot, never cheated anyone and will never do it. You want in whisper us or world shout us, we will do this together, if you are willing.

I will give you our vent info and we can communicate and learn together, no shouting, no screaming and leave your frustration at the door. Learning experience can be a hard thing, but it can be beneficial to all of us ;-)

Count me in. I've never completed Tosh 1st boss. I don't need anything from instances like those but I'm willing to help and eager to learn. Just gimme a hollar if you want some extra magical dps. Lets just hope I don't forget to equip my staff like I did when I went in kbnhm for the first time lol

Lol, and if you come to Osha, low durability Dim Lights have been selling for about 3-5mill.

The way you mentioned is how I stat my characters, not everything is perfect but it's close enough to where it doesn't too massive of a difference. I get by with my "3 good stats and 3 not the greatest/latest stats" model. Well when I mod and gets me where I need to go, and the wisdom/matk stats get bought for my D/R. It's not a bad option TBH, Wisdom should be more highly used on mages, not for mana but for Magic Accuracy.

Ooh just read on the EU forums all it is is the previous buff won't disappear until the new pet is completely done casting. So it's not really buff stacking, it's just a fix to when the buff disappears and the new one appears.

Good. :p

There is a deep hatred for the Scout class in the company. With this mod it goes from the weakest ranged class, even the rogues using the vampire and shot do more damage and the throw ammo does double to triple the damage of arrows, to the weakest melee class with no melee skills.

Tuesday, June 4th 2013, 6:45pm

I agree scouts didn't need another smack. Zid is probably right about the fact that they are a rogues worst enemy. At least that is what my gf sees in Siege, she plays s/p mostly and never has trouble with rogues under 80k health and above. Must be the reason for the nerf to them. Let Rogues get closer and maybe not so easy to kill. sigh. I just hope they fixed priest fairies to not get wtf owned every 2 seconds.

if noone bothers to farm anymore ? dunno. and "put it in the AH for whatever" does not mean a) it will be bought at all b) for that price c) that the price is even serious. AH is 30 free bag slots for BoE stuff :p

---

I usually see my part in informing players (which is why i write/translate for romwelten all the time although i did not bother to play actively anymore since after the clear of AC).

The "brain" part begins to start at "i need THIS piece" which then leads to "its sooo expensive" - yeah like anyone with a brain should care. There is MORE than enough gear available for free or almost free , or if you go to buying gear from players, available cheaply or at least more efficiently for the goal of "get the gear yourself" then just buying something you consider overpriced.

But if noone bothers with the gear because its not the best , thats a brain or a ego problem of the players that do not have the gear but want it and do not want to cope with anything less or do not want to run instances themselves. Regardless of price, be it 5, 10, 25, or 500 mil

The game literally throws gear at you all the time which enables everyone with a brain to acquire the best stuff themselves instead of buying it for whatever price.

Hell, my old guild restarted from zero gear to clearing KBN hard within a months time , they STILL do not have gear on the level of the dominating end game guild but they cleared KBN on their own and are able to get what they need on their own. You just need to get a grasp of efficieny and not be blinded by the shiny super duper stuff.

And this is something ive told countless people on my server over the course of three years , hell even people who were buying gear from me and asked for a second piece but were not able to afford it. Guess what? 95% of them came back to me and bought the stuff regardless or spent the amount of gold/diamonds on a single weapon or OD gear piece that would have gotten them a whole SET of gear that was able to CLEAR AND FARM the instance where the ONE SINGLE item he just bought drops.

The game (and of course the endgame players as the early birds who acquire the gear first and sell it down the line) lives from stupidity and ignorance. And of course from egos and deep wallets of a few people. Its not even a secret , you can even explain it in WC and noone gives a F. And still you see people who may even invest more time than you into the game going to the same people again and simply buy the stuff.

TLDR: dont want to spend a lot? get a brain, read up on stuff, make use of whatever the game throws at you for free (biggest LOL in this point are probably PoM events - just ridiculous BS for anyone who goes through the effort of acquiring them from world bosses at first thinking - but then of course they will take advantage of it because the bosses do not drop enough proofs even for a single guild to equip in a reasonable amount of time , unless exploiting (perma-farm Lagusen HM 12h straight)) then farm the good stuff yourselves.

Please insert " ' " before some s yourself, im lazy.

Of course "free" as in "do not need to buy from other players" - gear does not upgrade itself, but you decide yourself when and how much diamond you spend on which shop items for what diamond prices. But that is cost associated with all pimped gear pieces, be it your own or from someone else which has the costs then factored into the price for ingame currency.

Maybe I didn't make it clear enough, but I, personally, don't care what the price is. If I want it and I have the money, ill buy it. You make all good points, with a few exceptions. Under no circumstance am I referring to my own personal situation but to newer players, which don't have the luxury of "your entire guild" which had the drive to go from scratch to KBNHM. That is a BIG game changer, having people working with you to a common goal. That is why my gf and I do so well, we pool all our work, resources, money, etc to work as a team. Newer players don't have that, which makes it harder for them, then it would for you and your whole guild. I agree also that a lot of people don't learn the game and just try to throw money at "the best". I use what is the most effective for the $$. Always have, always will. Yes and your site, which I love, is a great tool to that. However, newer players may take a while to figure that info out. Without a guild or learning they do quit also.... All I was saying is that there are those players, Not you, but some that sell stuff at certain prices specifically because "not many can get it". I have found a few players in higher up guilds that don't though and even THEY say their guildmates price gouge... and do it on purpose and they don't agree with it. Hence I buy from them for a fair price :P I think it is a double edged sword, L2P, L2stat, don't try to go epeen and then cry about prices, but then also think of the community a little (like you, I mean you run a whole site). You are one of the exceptions to the rule so in no way was my comments directed at you personally, just at the system in general.

Or maybe they can give r/k a new 70/70 elite, since strike of punishment doesn't really require a shield in the first place, so giving them an elite that removes the need for a shield for that skill is kinda pointless.
