Bethomia Castle Hard - PLEASE FIX

There really is no other logical conclusion that the majority this instance is broken/bugged. Heres a list of a few:

1. All but maybe 1 boss is burnable by party members not even level capped, or not even geared from the instance. One of our rogues supposedly crit 2mil low blow.

2. Bosses have almost non-existent crit resist. This leads to fast burns. No strats. No challenge. No fun.

3. No bosses give mems. None.

4. 4th boss. Its bugged. Killable, and strat is there, intact. But bugged.

I honestly hope there was some kind of mismatch with normal mode boss attributes or something. This instance really is a joke. Considering half of this instance was 6 manned, and most of us were not even at lvl cap (or leveled for that matter), AND our tank K/P was DPS statted, barely scratching 200k hp and 400k pdef, we 10 (9 manned realistically) the end 2-3 bosses...this has to be bugged. Butchered. Whatever.

Raise the attributes of these bosses. All of them. As it stands right now, the instance is pathetic. Its a burn. KBNHM poses more of a challenge at this point. Its equivalent to ToSH difficulty.

Raise/FIX the attributes of EVERY mob, INCLUDING bosses in this instance. Please.

People are quitting over this.

just to emphasize, here the raw values of level83 bosses

rename from .txt to .csv (couldnt attach otherwise) import as CSV in excel or libreoffice. comma is the separator(d'oh!).

LP: D
pdef: Y
mdef: AC
p-critres: AB
m-critres: AE
(critres values are bit messy, but basically the bosses have almost-none-to-zero res)

I just wonder if this was done on purpose. Making it so more guilds have a chance of clearing these instances. I mean after all how many guilds were clearing KBNHM? That is not a way to push your player base to want to become more powerful. Letting content being only done by a small few is not the way. It looks like they are leaning more toward wanting people to have more access to gear and stats so they spend money and then use it in siege. I mean coming out with new gear specifically for pvp? Makes me think that is what they want people to strive for, not having to be OP to run content.... which I would be ok with.

I wasn't saying that it should be this way. Just that if they keep it that way I wont be upset. I just have to point out the fact of if you think the endgamers spend more or less money on the game then midgamers or newer players? I really think most endgamers rely on selling endgame gear to avoid cracking their own wallets on the gear treadmill. That may not be everyone but I would bet a large portion. Now they will say, "I spent my money to get here and my time". That is not a judgement, just a reason why they might figure this is the way to go now. I mean after all... if players strive to hit level max the day of the new patch, and clear the new instance asap... why not just give it to you instead of stalling you the... couple of days it would take you to clear it. Instead just make it easier so that you get what you want, it cleared fast, and then that gear it achievable by more people. Then there is less need for everyone to spend as much to max out their characters, making the game cheaper across the whole and easier and more inviting for new players.... Isnt that something people are asking for? Obviously the "only the most powerful get to run Hardmode and sell the items for whatever they want so they can avoid buying diamonds for RL money" model hasn't been working......

I mean it would be better if they made easy/normal/hard all drop the same stuff, or just normal/hard drop the same things. Leave hard for the people that just want the challenge.. I doubt that is what you would want. Cause I do believe you think that the end game guilds should be the only ones with access to certain gear and then fleece everyone else.

Because getting the gear isn't the driving force. If it was, Heretic would still have the tank it's had for YEARS. He quit because he lived for those nights when you're driven to the edge of endurance.

I am sure some endgamers just play to fleece others. They will love the CRAP out of this. Thing is, everyone I know love breaking endgame because it's a challenge. And I don't know about "a few days." KBN took about a month. It gives you a sense of accomplishment.

That? That clear last night, where I was the tenth person ("realistically nine" hmph!), was so sad. Instead of feeling proud of a clear, I felt ashamed. Ashamed that they could carry me through that and still clear. Ashamed that it took one day. Ashamed for Runewaker, for stripping the FUN from the instance.

Very few of us "endgamers" get off on fleecing people for gear. Most of us live for the peak experience of dying and dying and dying and being FORCED to play better, to play harder, to come together with perfect synergy to WIN.

This is just a sad sad joke. Tosh is harder than this. Still. Jaysus, GCH is harder than this.

Then I think they should put the gear tables from hard into normal and then leave hard just for that drive. How would you feel about that? Easy for quests, normal for gear, hard for achievement. I think that is a better idea.

It's risk vs. reward, if all the hardmode gear was bound on account I'd prolly be fine with that, would you? you couldn't complain about endgamers ripping you off in every single post, only about being terrible at the game or not having friends.

I would be perfectly ok with that actually. Endgamers don't rip me off. They rip off other people. I don't strive for being, or having an epeen. I just buy what I want, earn what I can and go from there. I never remember saying anything about friends... or are you saying if you don't rely on others... you suck at the game? I am not sure what you mean there. However, I will say I am perfectly ok with that idea. I knew it wouldn't be long till someone came along and said "risk vs reward" and then insulted the person suggesting a change in the status quo. Course I ask you the question also, do you think the game is going to survive in its current state? Or do you think something needs to change. Doesn't mean the change that is needed is the change that you would like.

THen why do you care? I mean really, though. People are posting how horrible this is. You obviously agree. However, then you say the game is dead, so why do you care then? By price of diamonds do you mean price of gold to diamonds, or dollars to diamonds? Cause if you are talking about gold to diamonds, then you are a freaking retard. Cause yeah, they should make it easier to F2P, so that more people don't spend money on the game, so the game makes less profits.... and the servers magically stay up and running. If you want cheaper diamonds go to a private server and quit polluting the main servers. With exception of the plussing gems and maybe abls, the cost of diamonds isn't THAT outrageous for RL money. I have no problem putting $15/month into this game for me and my gf. Which is what we manage to do with our diamond purchases. If the game didn't REQUIRE fully maxxed out gear, the entire cost of the game would be cheapter wouldn't it? That would reduce the effective diamond price. So if you didn't have to be armed to the teeth for every instance and use egg rice dumplings, etc etc, then it would effectively reduce the cost of the game and diamonds.

easy hardmode endgame instance makes my life easier, good stats cheaper, and if you want hard do RT dia with lvl 60 chars...not saying this will please everybody, but it does have it's advantages for ME...

yeah, ik all the endgamers are whining about this, and they have a right to do so, as to them, the point of the game was a complete disappointment for them...for me, not so much...

different people like different stuff, and that's fine, as long as it all works together...what we are looking for is just a happy medium

They might be worrying about the casual player. Ultimately, most players come and go because of how it was before. If this instance is easier than past instances for new players to become end game, then their might be more players sticking around and more competition for higher guilds in siege.

Seems like they might have mixed up easy and hard mode damage too. Easy mode mobs can hit for 100k, according to cloak's new instance easy run vid.
