Syrbal Pass Worldboss Bugged too?



At the very back of Molten Veins, there's a boss/worldboss (whatever you want to call it) in Syrbal Pass. There's a transporter near snoop that conveniently transports you to near this boss.

Not sure if its broken (Like bethmia),because boss seems to have 0 crit resist as well, so soaks up more damage than even the regular zone mobs. Its a lot easier than the old (regulr mode) worldbosses in older zones.

Also, anyone know if boss drops anything other than a link rune?

I got a green drop the second try, so i guess probably no nice drops. Boss has some cool animations though, I love it when it spits out a firey wave, looked totally epic (and lagged totally epically as well). :D

wait so thats a "World boss"? have you tried using the Beacon on it to see if it gives Proofs for the Elites?

Worldboss just refers to any boss thats in the open world. The terms was used before proofs came out. After proof came out, the worldbosses were mostly used just for proof bosses (which were called worldbosses prior to that already, and the old worlsbosses didn't have much use anyway).

Who said it was a world boss or supposed to be? Have you tried questing through the map yet? You get not ! notification when nearby this "world boss".

It can drop a card, if you bothered to have that add on you'd know this. Grats on overbuffing to kill him though.

Been here since chapter 3, i know what World Bosses are and i know some bosses like Great Deepthroat or whatever are "World Bosses" but give no rewards as such, i was just asking cause its a new zone and as broken as the content is, it was worth a shot for asking.

Already answered this in post #5. Please read that first.

Yes, I know they drop cards, like most mobs in the game, so i didn't feel the need to specifically state "Except for cards". And yes, I buffed for the first time just it case, I'd prefer not to die in open world.
