Sorry, we got banned for 30 days for shaving one second off a boss.

If someone were to say... spawn a bunch of illegal items into the game... spawn mats into the game to sell to vendors for millions of gold, and then buy out EVERYTHING from the auction house (including all diamonds), and then spawning thousands of NPC's into a highly populated zone with the intent to crash she server... that is just as bad as pulling a boss out of a room?

Please tell me how rational your rationale is, because really, I do not see it. If we got 30 days, they should be banned permanently. This isn't something that should be discussed. This is just common sense. They were breaking the game, literally. Literally doing things that were ill-intended. Server crushing. Game ruining. Please tell me how taking a second away from a boss fight did this.

You are severely slow if you think that people who do what they did only deserve 30 days. I did not say I was all godly, and undeserving of a ban, but in their case... they deserve to be banned, permanently.

Also, tell me how what we did that caused the servers to stay down for well over a day. People who whined for our exploitation were the people who thought it was game breaking, when it really was not. Shaving a second = 30 day ban. Spawning gear out of nothing, buying the whole auction house out (buying all the dias, flooding the game with billions of illicit gold... literally breaking the CODING OF THE GAME) = 30 day ban.

Me doth agree, BB. Esp since they continously log inter the game on other toons in the meantime. This ban needeth ter be perm, or it won't be their toons goin on permenant vacation from the game. Gameforge hast messed this whole situation up from the start, an they continue ter spit in the faces o legitimate players wit their reactions. They best man up, fast.

I agree with BB and Lemon, perma ban was the way to go, they want to change IP and make new toons go ahead. Don't tell us they did it to show the weakness of the game, they were mad for something and decided to take it out on the whole community, sad little people.

As much as I dont like to, I have to agree with BB here. Sure, I watched ppk farming energy from taz for weeks. Sure SJ had members botting and duping. The list goes right on down the line including Targ exploits to mod folders. However, these morons were going to far, with no intentions to "get ahead" of anyone. Instead their intentions were to ruin the game for everyone (which they did for 2 days). If THIS doesnt deserve a permaban, im sorry, what does? And im not even surprised honestly. This game has never been proactive in fixing/making things better.

If they would actually take care of the game fix any bugs that pop up and maybe GET SW OUT OF BETA people would play again as it is just the loyal players stay if u see somone at lvl one its an alt or the endangered new player other than the fact that u can basically hack and get away with and do it again and the fact that im pretty sure there have been bugs that have been there yrs and that the game has u crash so much the game would prolly be the most played game out there but the service and the ammount of attention the game gets keeps that from happening

BB do you think the guy that got the servers shut down was doing it for any other reason than to draw attention to the fact that elitists have been using this for a while and getting away with it> The difference is they were doing it quietly so no one would notice, and they could get away with it. My point is your guild probably has people that were using those hacks quietly behind the scene because you haven't seen the need to play fairly with other things. If you exploit, and were ok with exploiting it is no better than anyone using hacked gear. This guy merely took it to an extreme so GF wakes up and fixes this.

I don't doubt endgamers have been using this same hack for free egg rice dumplings, free diamonds, plussing items, making gold, statting without having to get the stats, etc. They have been for a while, in multiple guilds. Just to only cry the instances were too easy. Difference is they didn't spawn NPCs and things like that because the last thing those players wanted to do was draw attention to themselves.

People have been cheating and exploiting this game for a while, YOUR GUILD INCLUDED (I don't care blah blah it was only this, it was only that, you openly exploited the game for gain and that boss wasn't the only thing you have done), so I don't think you are innocent in never having a member use these hacks/exploits. I have caught your members botting in a few zones including near Sardo castle, about a half a year ago.

I reiterate cause I cant believe people don't get it. This guy has only been doing this to call out the other cheaters so they don't get away with it any longer. If you believe anything else, you are a moron. He on Artemis last night told people that he was sorry for getting the servers destroyed and he wont go to that extreme anymore, but he has still seen people that have used this hack existing in game, and wants GF to realize they haven't fixed it yet. Really this guy is doing more for the game in stopped exploiters than anyone ever before. It would be like a botter doing something so extreme that GF finally had to get rid of botters.

Now as for all the people that were quietly using those hack and getting away with it, they deserve to be banned, and I get why they only got 30 days. I understand this ONLY if they fix the ability to do it again, strip their characters completely of gear and, and then let them come back. That way they have no choice but to start all over again. That is what they get for cheating. Most will quit under those circumstances anyway, but if they don't take their gear/gold and fix the exploit then letting them come back is pointless. Just like the ban for PPK, I doubt they still play on the up and up... They merely learned to not blare it in a live feed so that GF can ban them with video proof.

sorry but "the price to F2P" is not the biggest issue. If the prices have sky rocketed, it means people were probably flooding the AH with hacked diamonds to drive the price down..... Just another piece of information to prove my point that this exploit has been being used openly for a while.

People continually trying to be at the top without spending money is part of the game design problem. I love that gear prices have plumitted now that more can run instances, so OP Endgamers don't have a lock on the gear market. They then turned to hacks/exploits which this guy has now brought to light and lots of them have been banned for. Diamonds were dropping in price and I knew it couldn't be because people valued their money less, more that no names were driving the price down with diamonds they weren't paying for. Now that is being addressed. Price of gear going down, price of stats going down, price of diamonds going up. This leads us to a "if you want to be an OP endgamer, Open your wallet" model that they used to have. Instead of a "spend money to get to Endgame then ride off of other players paying". Gotta say I think it is better that way. This hacker that caused this, I think, did more for the servers than most will ever understand.

Well now people on Pal been putting dias in ah for around70k. Yeah liek we have the eceonomy to support reni priced dias. LOL people. smh.

makes me wonder if reni is richer than other servers or just have super greedy people

I do agree with some of this, people have been exploiting a lot of things on the servers, Targonhal etc. They posted videos of how to do it with a warden level 50 lol, sad. There are miryads of things that can be exploited in the game, some boast about it and all. But this latest one has supposedly been going on for 6 weeks or so, i just can't believe that no one has said anything about it. 30 day ban, ok, strip them of all their gear, house items and their guild castle, but they still won't give a damn, for doing stuff like this, we can't say they had our best interest at heart.

If you are not here to have fun and enjoy the GAME GTFO, plain and simple.

yeah I mean if the don't fix the ability to do it, nothing will be solved by any duration of ban besides a perma one, with IP/proxy, full on ban. I just hope that they fix the ability to do it 100%, I have heard that the private servers have managed to fix it already. This at least will give us hope that it is fixable here and should come pretty quick, cause the work has been done somewhere else. Like how Targonhaul was fixed first on private servers lol.

I 100% agree, if you don't like the game GTFO I love this game, and will continue to spend money on it, granted it is still up, not a complete rip off and people don't have exploits to get them what I am paying for.

Or people that buy gold or bot wouldn't surprise me. But palenque is usually the poorest/cheapest server of them all, cant speak for grim/indi though.

We just have more gold.. it's always been that way. Not really sure why.

For example, on Palenque if you have 100M you've got quite a bit of money. On Reni if you have 100M that will barely buy anything. Just the way it's always been. *Shrug* Maybe it's just higher population = more gold income on the server.

70K/per really sucks though.. even we don't have 70K/per. At least I usually get for 60-65K.
