Well if you didn't know what is happening in your guild, you are like an ostrich with his head in the sand. For all the reports of people in your guild and outside of it that knew about it, damn. That is why in our guild we play with the same players day in and day out, newcomers when we decide to invite some and after a screening to make sure they are legit and all. We check what they sell, what we get on runs, what they wear and how they got it, mainly to help our guildies and give the stuff they need free. I make free food and potions for all the guild, armor, weapons etc. If we ever caught one doing shenanigans in or outside the guild well BYE BYE. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure it out.

Toons leveling level 80/80 in a few minutes all T8 and orange statted?? HELLO??, fully upgraded castle for about what?? 1.5M rubies, 40M of each mats?? do you have 500 active members in your guild?? There is no way that was legit but ohhh look over there, there is a tree, Where?? the forest is blocking my vue ;-) loll

I love how people reply on the forums about Elusive and how much stuff they "know" about Elusive. Pretty sure a lot of people are just assuming from rumors. Elusive was around for quite a while before everything went completely downhill. The stuff you say Elusive should have known by being in the guild.. "80/80 toons in a few minutes and T8 gear". None of that even happened till the past week or 2 of all this drama. Castle fully upgraded.. legit members also spent tons of gold getting rubies and resources, whether it be from the auction house, from alts or finding a million planters and paying them.

For the toons that were in question before.. the "obvious" ones... As far as the guild knew.. they were never actually caught with anything and also had their accounts checked out and everything was fine. People were known to have purchased a great amount of diamonds therefore could easily obtain gear/stats. And again none of that happened overnight. Not till a week or so ago.

You guys should stop blaming everyone that was in Elusive and get all your facts straight. There were good people in that guild that were legit and just came on to play. For most in that guild... when the hacks presented themselves and Artemis got jacked up.. it was just as much of a surprise for members of Elusive as it was to the rest of the server. They trusted the people in the guild for reasons I stated earlier (buying a lot of diamonds). They had no reason to think otherwise.

do u have any idea how much of that stuff it takes to upgrade castle? a lot even if they all spent they gold should have still taken 6 months at MINIMUM it takes a lot for any upgrade

Standard hackers line "rollback" punish everyone. Make it so onerous the everyone quits the game, which is why the hackers started this problem in the first place. They know that a major rollback will cause enough players to quit to stop the game from being profitable enough to continue.
The hackers have issues with this game. They want to break it forever, they know if they can't do it by causing enough chaos in the game itself they can cause it to happen by forcing a major rollback.
The hackers also know that if they force a "rollback" it will destroy all evidence of who caused the problems and they can continue messing up the game.
Find the ones who caused the problems and those who took advantage of them. Ban them and their IPs that is the one and only solution to the problem and if a large number of those problems can be traced to a single server ban that server as well.

Look this up and start adding the numbers to all the upgrades to buildings level V, VI and VII and full wall upgrades.

I don't know why you all think banning their IP is going to stop them. Changing your IP address is not very difficult, especially for someone who already knows how to hack pretty efficiently. They'll just change their IP and be right back into the game, barely having been slowed down in the slightest.

Hackers will always find a way around a punishment.

I think they were already IP banned, from what I've heard. The problem is, they change their IP, and they come back... Until the exploit is fixed, no amount of banning will achieve anything.

Do some calculations

I'm interested in how much gold would be needed to achieve full castle upgrade if 85% of the mats were bought, assuming the remaining 15% was gathered, or if anyone is able to provide me with the costs of mats/guild rubies on Artemis, as I don't have access to RoM until mid August due to fail portable laptop.

Endgame guilds would probably have at least several billion gold, or even 10-25 billions at their disposal for castle upgrades if they pool their resources (just my estimation, if anyone from any endgame guilds could provide me with data if I'm wrong, would be appreciated), but if the cost turns up to be like 500 billion gold, imo, that would be a good evidence to conclude that they duped the mats. However, if the results turns out to be an amount that an endgame guild could obtain reasonablely, then I would not be so quick to point fingers.

I love it when people post "I only play this game because of the community and my friends". That is funny and at this point of the game, with all that is happening, this has to be the WORST community out there in mmo gaming. It's a spit in the face really, to everyone who plays this game legitimately to have people running around bragging about their gear which they didn't even earn, I know this is a game, I get that aspect but I don't get why you would continue this stupidity. I'd love to hear the voices of these people trying to justify it with their headstrong views on how they were fkd over by GF, like everyone hasn't at some point, but this is not the way to stick it to anyone.

We have utter morons that blindly follow guilds that outright exploit the game, with the mentality that the player above you is almighty and you strive to be cool like them. It's very sad that it has come to this. I can only hope that the people continuing to do this, at some point in their lives understand wrong from right and how their actions impact more than themselves, yet doing this might be hard due to how much these people adore their own ability to make themselves look cool.

Look, I get it..you hacked the game, grats, now move on, it's just that simple. It is bad enough that gameforge does the damage it does, we don't need or didn't need what happened or what is happening to continue.

... is fairly wrong. When your do the rollback, you backup the server first and then restore it to another, spare, server. That way you look for evidence in a system that is free from any further concealment effort, or any other changes complicating process. The process tends to be heck of a lot of work, though, so not to be done for minor things. This hacking - not minor.

On the subject of XP/TP bonus - meh. As the pool of newer players dwindles, the game tends to skew more and more toward fully leveled people, who don't need XP/TP. Thus less XP/TP needed. It's been ages since I've seen active dogmeat trade. Yes, it is good for alts and for increasingly decreasing pool of people not at the cap. Still... meh.

Yeah, I care not for compensation, just fair gameplay. Fix the game please....that is all I want.

why forum mods are useless, no game with out a game master, just a bunch of hackers

The forum mods have nothing to do with inner workings of the game they volunteer to try and keep the peace here ......you need to rethink and rewrite your little essay if you want it to stay on the forums.and keep it within the forum rules. I cant effin believe you would blame any forum mentors for any of this.
Place blame where it belongs.on the people using an outside hack program to obtain things.

Yeah, forum mods are doing heck of a job, considering they are not employees and are doing this as volunteer effort. If GMs, CMs, IT and developers did a job as good as FM are doing, we'd be all better off*.



*This has been totally unsolicited testimonial, and I have not been compensated at all for my praise of FMs. But, should they decide that compensation is due, I won't protest too loudly.

The FM's and CM's are doing "okay" but I think they could do better at least let us know, if there is ever going to be a patch or fix for this, if not, I'm just going to quit now b/c they'll keep coming back until the game is dead.
