Melee DPS nerf for Beth?

Soooo after patch... were all happy you increased the difficulty of Beth, and fixed a few things... but you increased the pdef of the bosses.... but not the mdef.... w/m and such, still doing same amount of damage as before, while all melee and physical classes doing roughly 20-30% less than before....

So i can re-stroke my epeeen again, can we raise the mdef to match the pdef PLEASEEEEE?

Im feeeling a lil low...... XD :phatgrin:

and before trolls step in, yes its not a nerf... but gdi it sure feels like a fat one, watchin those scruts :)

well didnt see anything else about it anywhere here friend, so if they dont know they dont know. And tbh i dont have a lot to complain about playing this game, little things here or there, but not bad enough i wont play.
I could always start a new thread saying nerf w/m again?

We lost 20% DPS from weapons for a year, Meelee finally loose 20% from boss Pdef.

Runewaker didn't forget about us mages after all!! :p J/k lol.


Thought I don't think this is the first time, I think boss 1 KBNH has more Pdef than Mdef too, balanced out by the casting speed nerf. Maybe this boss has something to counterbalance as well? But then again, could also be that RW forgot, just liek they forgot about crit resist.

lol increasing mdef for bosses would kill mages if they still exist... mages do like 10X less DPS than any other melee class in burn and after that they do even less DPS... to balance things out we would need to get at least our 20% mdam incrase on weapons as right now we only getting pdam incease for staff which is useless for any mage, if trend continues we will get next staff with more pdam than mdam... fix it :dash:

they just didnt change anything on the mdef side with 6.01 - i think they may have changed a bit on the magical crit resist but i dont have the old data in raw and im too lazy to look up every boss by hand. on physical side pdef was changed substantially and different crit resists were assigned. they just forgot it at boss4 for both ...

Yes, w/m's are still viable! ( dont use one) but very few people even play mages anymore. We have like less than 5 in our guild... thats how few mages play anymore. IN chapter 3 ( runes of scouts ) MA used to be almost all mages, thats just sad, now it's all rogues :(

I still play mage :crazy: . And once they up our staffs ,then they can up the mdef on bosses. Till then hell no :thumbdown: .

Playing a mage is a joke... I tested even if every mage flame was crit and none of warmage hits were crits warmage would still over DPS mage.
