Sorry guys, but with the amount of 'trying' you'll have to do now, I will guarantee it isn't worth it. The only way you could bring people back to AU is to do as has been suggested for YEARS and drastically change the item shop so it doesn't give everyone the idea of "hey, look at that, Gameforge is ripping us off, charging stupid amounts of $$ for computer generated 'goods' which cost you almost nothing to produce'"."CoMa replacement" is our designation for the person who is covering for our Community Manager(s) when they are on vacation/sick leave/whatever. That way you are always aware who is covering if the person officialy in charge is not around at any given moment. And AU is not forgotten, trust me, we are well aware of its existance and the fact it was neglected for a very long time, and are trying to fix that.
Imo, the most important issue for AU is the ping, from what I've seen. The IS is not new, and AU has survived for quite a while with it. But with the server farm move to US, AU server has pretty much had the majority of the players leave within a month.Sorry guys, but with the amount of 'trying' you'll have to do now, I will guarantee it isn't worth it. Either that or remove AU for good....Transfer's if you cared for the community or just delete the lot, though I know the later is much more likely.
/me runs I wish that was true. The ping certainly didn't help, but it wasn't that which broke the server. We went from AUSTRALIAN GM's to the useless retards that ran the US side. That was the first step towards our server's downfall.Imo, the most important issue for AU is the ping, from what I've seen. The IS is not new, and AU has survived for quite a while with it. Sorry to hear that Cammo.AU doesn't exist anymore. Server is so dead it'll be the next to get shut down. Log in at 8 pm AEST time (AU's peak time) and you'll know what i mean.....Uh...

What was the topic of the discussion?yesterday evening first guild round table with ProductCM ThePit - was very interesting and promising judging from the recording i have. And yes it was in german.
We're currently working on publishing the 45mins of it on RoM-Welten where ThePit talked because we have an OK for it - for the Q&A session to release as audio we'd need the ok from everyone who talked as it would be rather incomplete without the user questions- this is kinda work in progress. There are individually hosted recordings available just check the subforum "ThePits heisser Stuhl" (ThePits hotseat) on DE board.
Text version of atleast what ThePit said will follow later, the total recording including Q&A session is 4 1/2 hours unfiltered - we first need to write it all down in german before i can actually start translating. Might as well take a few days or a week.
Maybe the more important info for some: he's going to do it monthly now that the first test worked out pretty well.
My personal guess would be that english-only speakers particitpating is not a problem as long as enough people are online who'd be willing to translate in both directions , but that's something you better ask ThePit either via PN or email (find it here, he posted the address himself)
