We're getting the first part (where only ThePit talked) finished atm in german ill translate it later and it will be on rom-welten.
As i will do the text translation as usual, is the original audio file of any interest for the english article? Doesnt hurt traffic-wise and the 3 lines of text won't hurt either but i imagine the usual suspects "uh but its german - crap" dunno how many people are able to understand german around here except maybe for RoMage.

inofficial download of the whole session as mp3 is avalable on the forum so far, like here (some user had put it on dropbox but it ran out of traffic, i simply mirrored it ) but its german only ... dont care about wasted traffic but without any knowledge of german it may be just a waste of time for you guys to have the complete session.

my GF is a german citizen that has been living in the US most of her life and speaks both VERY fluently. I am so gonna get her to listen to it and summarize for me. LOL

And did he actually swear so much? :p (I guess a better question to ask is if the original words in german carry the same vulgarity - since some english words that are considered vulgar is actually not considered an indecent word in chinese, so wondering if thats the case with german too).

His original words "scheiß Goldseller", "drecks Botter" and "beschissenen Cheater" are really intense and very insulting. The word-by-word-translation of these words are more like shit and crap, but calling somebody "beschissen" is pretty much near the end of scale, and I can't think of many more intense adjectives like this one. And he referred the very insulting "Pisser" (somebody who's pissing) to himself, meaning that the bad guys are really, really going to hate him. And the "freaking black hole" actually was more a "damn black hole".

However he used such words only for two topics when he was referring to the bad guys and the bug situation. And you should note, that with about 150 guild representatives this was still more like a private/closed meeting, and it would be wrong to take really everything he said word by word. But we Germans were also a little bit surprised that somebody in his position is using such explicit words, but I'm quite sure most were pretty happy that he used such clear words for these problems.

I am more than happy to take his statement word-for word, it is almost refreshing to see and hear such words shared with the general public which would if anything be a watered down version of what I have personally been part of in private. I for one hope this is a step in a continued push to community transparency...

As for the bans, it seems as it only pertained to some servers, on Palenque the are still a lot of hacked items and people selling those 500k ingots everyday and inflating prices with their cheap, hacked gold. Not to mention those that sold 1 diamond for millions when the hacker was around, they still are around and buying legitimate things off Auction House at their will.

I forwarded your wishes and asked him to hold a meeting for US Guild leaders aswell.
Not sure when its gonna happen since US is not the only community and we really have lots of work on RoM. (Hopefully asap)

Correction, the DE community got one.

To delete 1.5 mill duped items would take some time.and to do this my guess is that it would easiest to create a program to search the server database. Again it takes some time.i do believe that gameforge will make our us servers somewhat happy.they wont be able to please everyone but so far i applaude the attemt to communicate and deal with the issues we have.
I would like to say Thank You Gameforge for tryin to fix everything.

Looool, AU IS a US server now though a barren wasteland at that, and even if 'AU' itself wanted one you might get 2 people, neither of which have any idea what raiding is >.<
