Thank god this is alive again. I'll be updating the first post with more of my videos and try to organize it and improve it more.

Lots of dislikes on coe first boss :( I think it's because its able to be burned so fast. Sorry :(

I really enjoy your videos BB, very informative and entertaining, but would be so more nice if you could start a separate "new scout" thread showing all your testing results of the changes just for scout. I'm surprised at how all scout talk has completely died after the patch. lol I suppose people are in the testing phase right now.

GF and RW need to take your videos, make a 30 second edit, and use it to promote this game. I watch them and always go "holy sh**" at the way you guys down the bosses. Can you guys try to do a run showing some strats as well?

Again, i think your videos could promote this game well and bring interest to others on what to strive for.

@Djed,

I highly doubt we would ever... in a serious run... try to strat. Our core endgame runs in instances are supposed to promote efficiency. The most efficient way to kill a boss is to nuke.

Outside of a core group, the ones who want to strat are very scarce. I know the tactic for first boss, but finding people who can actually strat... that's a bit different.

I was going to make a thread but someone called me out in chat for 'self-promotion' and I didn't want it to look that way. I simply wanted everyone to see what scouts can do now without having to waste their own TP, time, gold, etc.

also to note it bleeding's scout is lacking. he's not scout main, so he doesn't have things optimised for scout(tp, gear, etc)(no offense).

a pure scout main would probably do decently better. just something to keep in mind.

there is a strength build s/r over on german servers that yoman has been keeping me informed about.

I look forward to seeing more scouts :D

BB you should make a new thread with videos of jsut scouts and see how it goes, from Grotto, to PoM to CoEH

please and ty, just to test scouts again :) seeing as you have a little outdated but still viable endgame gear usable for scout.

but if you're using dex/pa x 6 I beliee that'd optimize a s/r's dps better than ia a s/m.

s/w via x6 str/pa.

I'd love to do a video of a full run in grotto - coe but here's the thing..

I can run goh full once as s/r, then we disband. Say we have like 4 alts.
Next day can do goh full as s/m, then we disband. That party we had like 2 alts.
Third day s/w, disband. Had 6 alts.

I'd like for everything to be as constant as possible. Also, I don't think I can run as scout in CoE yet... I think it would put my guildies in jeopardy of dying. Maybe not.

I also feel like s/w is the best I can do right now with my options (s/r s/m or s/w) as its buff to patk really beats any of those 2 other classes.

I was thinking of doing 6/0 str/pa because with guardian pot, you get more patk per str than you do with dexterity. Maybe one day. No time soon tho. I just got top actual person dex on artemis and idk if I wanna see that go xD

I remember those days, I use to hae top 5 pdef and top 15 stam and top 10 wisdom, mann those days have come gone as to where I work my life away and don't hae time to play like i wish I did.

Keep up the good work though, and I figured s/w and s/wd would be the top ones.

my g/f's scout is still geared pretty decently. More importantly we had been putting TPs into s/w. The pdef debuff, the extra buffs, and such made it where we though it would be the best bet. He gear always mixed dex/pa and str/pa just to get the most pa out of the gear. I might have to update her xbow, but I think it was T11 from Beth.

Besides the fact that s/r can do more debuffs on a boss, I wonder if s/w's own dps would be better. Course if you are using a s/r alt, I guess it wouldn't matter.

IMO I prefer s/w's debuff over s/r's. just my opinion though, and overall a s/w's would be higher than a s/r's.

Now I'm not sure where s/wd comes into play in this... as to where one of the s/wd's skills were broke due to an elite and not sure if it still is or not.

That being said, if people still played r/s's ( where a s/r would shine due to the vamp arrows) I might reconsider on s/r.

k/s tank, d/s healer, wd/s, w/s (w/s got a huge buff in burst dmg thanks to blood arrow change), could all possibly use vamp arrow. Not to mention if you have multiple scouts....no need for anyone to specifically play r/s just for s/r to shine xD
