mineaswell delete all dumplings 99% of them are probably duped anyways gives unfair advantages in siege imo and this is an item that was only given out 2-3 years ago, no way legit dumplings are still spammable in siege.

There is a legit claim here Borella we both know that some do have large amounts of them there is no way that that many people can spam them in sw(most endgamers can find a better use outside of siege) but deleting them all is just going to upset those that have them legit.i myself have very few left of the thousands that i once had.

You mean no one else logged in multiple alts when GMs came around and stood around for free egg rice?

Do you also mean that no GM ever came to any server and gave out 300-500+ per person on varanas bridge at night, ever?

You never had friends who quit the game, gave away their stuff, some of which used to be stockpiles of egg rice that they never used?

The above 3 were true for me. Hence why I still have egg rice.

Also, if you're here QQing about a siege - aren't you from Bteam? You're one of the better geared guilds out there. Why you QQ'in? Should be able to outgear and overpower most guilds, no? Especially when you outnumber them.

First and 3rd point yes but . Second only happened to reni, GMs gave palenque only like 15 at a time. About topic deleting egg rice would just make people who got it legit more angry as people who know how to dupe can just dupe other stuff too and be OP anyway.

If the player is using egg rice and THEN using a hot stew, then you know what's going on. There is many people who have like raves said, friends who bought an asston of them when they were on sale and eventually passed them on after moving on. There are a few people per server who have a thousand or so that were obtain legitimately, so 99% of them aren't duped.

I would drape myself in velvet if it was socially acceptable.

I have to partly agree with this, since the president of Frogster lived in California and only came in game at 3AM EST online to give stuff out to people. The only people who could get them were West Coast time people. Giving out 100"s of them to the same players was just wrong, make it fair and spam peoples mailboxes, but he was another of those greedy ones as well, me thinks.

Put egg rice dumplings on sale in IS for diamonds, same as with Sacred phoenix, their is no reason why not do it, more revenue for you guys. ;-) 30%/30 days speed mounts potions too.

I disagree. I still have alot of eggrice and it is all legit. We had an old chapter 3 player come back that had a ton saved and he donated it the guild for instance runs before he left again. This is a problem that will work itself out. As time goes on less egg rice will be available and it will become extinct. Sort of like deceleration of neutrality and even hot stew. There is not much hot stew left at least on indigo. I am holding onto my last two stacks with extreme self control.

if the items have a timestamp it should not be too hard to delete only the illegitimate food. it not like there are new legit items of this type brought into the game every day with no means to distinguish.

I don't agree with Ravesden or Borella often and very rarely with both of them at the same time. But this is an absolutely ridiculous request. When GMs handed these out my gf and I made sure we got a good stockpile for her tank. Now we only use them when we need that little extra boost on her w/k to tank something and removing them is NOT the answer.

Just like removing hot stews wouldn't either, I still got red bean rice dumplings too.

What I do think they need to do is make them available again, either as a bonus in a Gasha, like they did once, or just a straight up buy a stack of 50. Then you could get them too and your whining is completely moot.

However, removing these items from players who legitly acquired them is NOT the answer, and if you think it is ok.... then you just need to get over it.

when was the last time they were on sale and the last time they were handed out by a GM during an event? certainly not in 2013 and i doubt it was in 2012 at all, either. Could be wrong with 2k12 though but i believe both the sale and the handout were a looong time ago.

if spawndate/dropdate > last_legit_date then delete itemid. done. more or less, the details are for dbadmins to work out (which they are doing - 3 database devs/admins alone have been working for 3 weeks to get the queries right for all the duped and hacked stuff and it is still WIP according to ThePit - but if you made your gf listen to the audio already you should know :p)

I would actually be in favor of this. The last date they were given out were when GM "president" (I believe) were last on Reni. Shortly after there was a "thank you" thread created, and I guess all the other servers got a bit jealous of the situation, being left out and all. Instead of Frogster/GF (whichever was present at the time) scheduling handouts on the servers left out, they stopped the giveaways altogether.

I got around 1-2k egg rice on 2 or 3 accounts that night. Also got a few thousand more from guildies who did not need/use egg rice, were just there to help get some for guildies. Mainly for our tanks/heals.

Coincidentally, those tanks/heals have quit the game since then, and the few thousand egg rice that each had were sent my way. Yum yum.

I also still have plenty of egg rice dumplings, red bean rice dumplings, hot stew, and laor forest tarts. Not to mention little magic biscuits, just found 22 stacks of those in an alt guild bank on a toon I had not logged into in almost 3 years.

I find it really sad that a lot of people in this game feel the need to call "ZOMG DOOPERZZZZ!!!" every time they see people with things they themselves don't have. Yes, some people did hack, some people did dupe, but that is no reason to punish people who obtained their items in a legitimate manner.

I think a simple solution would be to ban the use of them in PVP. along with a bunch of other buff foods speed pots etc. and make it more about skill than how many millions you spend on consumables. Especially with the new PVP Armor sets.

Wait did you really just type that? You do know what game you play right? Runes of Magic, where you can BUY your gear in complete and full. So by your theory we should "ban" people that spend...hundreds of millions on gear..because gear doesn't = skill.
