That is quick work and if they got people live monitoring, ROCKS!!!

I can say I watch the forum I talked about before about botters.... They are freaking out about the GMs banning accounts LOL, I LOVE IT

New report tool

"Brandnew Report Tool arrived

Hi!

Some of you remember this one from Aion: http://report.runesofmagic.com users can upload Screenshots from hackers/goldspammers/cheaters and we will handle it in support."

I clicked the link above on a lark to see what it looked like. Imagine my surprise in finding out they actually have Palenque listed as a server to choose. I figured it would still be UNKNOWN like ever other report you make when selecting server.

Well we got Preview who basicly admitted being Garsak and mailbombed my mailbox with puris to try to get me banned. The only problem with that new tool, you can only send one screenshot and report a toon only once, so i couldn't send in all the proof. He also link me the report link just to show that it won't do anything to report people.

Hopefully someone is actually on the other end of the report thingy and do their job fast, tyvm.

it is mostly effective versus goldsellers / gold spamming bots - hacking takes more investigation.

some Phelan quotes from the first hours after the thing went live yesterday:

"ok .. first feedback from me...
12 goldsellers reported and banned, 200 accounts gone now. Bots and hacks will take some time, but support is on it, a screenshot is not enough*, this takes a bit more digging in the database.
Thanks!"

Awesome... I thought before I crashed last night I made a post about this, but it is gone. Maybe I said something I shouldn't have in it. Let me just state that this change has some people running scared.
