As much as I like some of the 'new' rules, my view, is that, (as others have also posted) when you log into the game you agree to the old (2008?) frogster TOS, none of these recently added gameforge rules/regulations (check my prior posts, I said the same thing a year or so ago) click through's are what you agree to, not what's posted on a forum. You (gameforge) NEED to update the TOS click through to reflect the change in ownership.
As it is, the click through means I agree to abide by the rules of Frogster, a company which currently has absolutely nothing to do with RoM where I play it, it does NOT state that I have to listen to a single word that Gameforge says.
As far as rules go, have you any idea when the last time I saw or had any indication that a GM or anyone who had even the slightest bit more authority than a player was on line? (Me neither, so long I forgot, but remember that I got biscuits!)
Any idea of how many "is there a GM on line?" posts I see that go unanswered? (1000s)
Do you know how often I have played for several hours while every post in world chat was either the f bomb, racist, sexist or "cheapest gold at www.whogives a crap.com"? (another 1000) Any idea how many reports I've made that took 3 months or more before I got a response that basically asked if I was sure I wanted to report that, or if it was still a valid concern? You know how many of those were answered ANOTHER 3 months later asking the same exact question?
The people you are making those rules for also know how seldom a GM is on line. They know how few people are willing to take time to make a report (should be an IN GAME process!), they know how long it takes for a report to be acted on, so the best you get from them is "Oh, yawn, new rules"
You don't need more rules, you need to
enforce the ones you have.
Update TOS
get GMs on line (even a random 1 minute a month would be 1000% improvement!)
faster, and REAL responses to reports.
