when are goblins going to be fixed properly

Don't you just love it when you end up with not just one, not just two, but three bosses at the end of the tunnel. And everything ganks on you when you hits the first one, resulting in getting stunned until you are completely dead.
This is a problem that needs to be addressed.
Fix the !@#$%^& (<- filtered myself) goblin games

I have never minded the extra mobs as you get more tp but that seems kinda crazy for ungeared players just trying to get shells.

I find it helpful to start with another set of mobs by going up the alternative ramp; a lesson I learned after my first perma-frosted death lol. At least in that way you will have a chance to deal with the mobs even if they all aggro once the boss spawns.

Yes, it needs to be fixed, but it is not like there is nothing you can do. As mentioned, there are two ramps, and anyone who goes up the one with toon-freezing water elementals instead of fairly harmless fire elementals has only himself to blame. Separating bosses from mobs is not that hard either- bosses chase you very far, mobs don't. You are not supposed to fight them in same place if you get 2x or 3x.

Especially when leading lowbies, a class with reliable AOE is good as leader. Even better is someone with reliable no-cd no-cast time distance attack. 1-hit is a must, but you still need to be able to thin the train as you are running away if you miss and set off a group.

My shell alts (using semi-dirty statted blue quest gear, so not exactly OP) used to die in 2x, now they complete it reliably. Main just zips through 2x, I am sure 3x would be harder but doable. And sure, I have to kite once in a while and there is a bit of time pressure, but it can be done.

None of it means this is not a problem and it should not be fixed. It should. Just that any bug fixing has to be prioritized according to severity, and this one is not *that* severe.

I would also vote for keeping it the way it is now. Most of the time you get a boring single-mob runs, but to get from time to time a 2x mobs or 3x mobs is both a bit of a challenge (read: fun! :) ) and a nice bonus in xp/pt.

(The real problem/bug was goblin mines crashing the whole zone, but this one has already been fixed.)

WTS Soulbound. It seem quite ramdom, but I love when I get the extra mobs, my alts win a lot of XP and since I'm already 80 the extra TP come at a good time. Melee classes might have some trouble with this but try to find a party with some mage, TS gives you a lot of advantage since these mobs don't have any resistance, is almost full wipe of them and a lot of XP/TP.

Imo, they should just make it an official option to get 2x mobs mode and 3x mobs mode. If those modes give a few more shells, that would be an even better bonus.

I like the random 2x or 3x mobs. There's been a couple of times where we've gotten those amounts of mobs and they're great to fill up orbs, or reduce XP/TP debt. I'd say leave it, but make it a little less common, OR make it a special formula to activate it only when you want it (like paying more coins for everyone in the party, or keeping a low level in the party). It seems to only happen to me when I'm in a party with a lower level, or a full up party full of 80's, albeit still pretty unpredictable.
