I was about to comment on the exact same thing.

Keep in mind that across the pond, it's just another weekend for them. They don't have these holidays such as Veterans Day or Labor Day. They know Christmas, New Years and Halloween. Cause that's about the only three major holidays that are celebrated the same on both sides.

I was about to make a suggestion post about keeping in mind the American holidays and doing something extra special. Buuut, I wouldn't count on anything.

Yea to be honest, the last 3 weeks or so have not been bad at all. I love diamond sales but we can't have them every weekend = / or it becomes pretty much a mandatory custom. As for the xp/tp event, yea I would really like one of those but there really isn't much a case for it until they fix/patch the bigger issues the game has. No point on having double xp/tp if a week later you're gonna do another rollback. That would just piss off even more people. I rather prefer their approach; stop publishing new content until things are completely fixed.

The sales are the same sales they have on a regular schedule, same for the diamond sales. They still haven't put the rubies back into them

The xp and tp events are pretty much meaningless to a lot of players at this point. They are not for holidays but for making money. Too many people have already maxed their characters and their alts. Some people haven't yet and it would be nice for them but nothing for the rest of us. When you have maxed all 3 of your classes by and those on your alts just doing the quests and dailies in the new areas it shows how long passed since the last XP/tp event. Can you imagine how much money they lost on the sales of daily reset tickets that an event a couple of months ago would have brought in but it is lost to them forever now.
The Zeevex code problem was a 5 minute fix that took a long time to get done.
We would like them to actually show us something that shows that they are reading the forums. A long time ago they asked for input into the Item shop and then for input into what need to be fixed. All those threads have long since died from neglect with no changes at all.

remember what the new rules stating something like... paraphrasing but not exactly... English is to be spoken on an English server no other language or something like that

so i would say hence this is the North America server, server based here, majority of population is from the US, we should at least have our so called holidays / special event days planned for us, similar to what frogster america did for us awhile back before and it worked fine,

so yes a bit disappointed playing on a US North America server, we should indeed see some kind of special planned events for our holidays too,

but yar wishful thinking as always

It is worthwhile to keep in mind that the events are now harmonised between EU and US - and no specifically Dutch, UK or German holidays are celebrated in game either.

That isn't to say that everyone should get something good when there is a major holiday, or that maybe taking the same events and moving them to appropriate holidays per server designation could not be an option, but it isn't a case of victimising the US players.

I don't think they have ever celebrated US-specific holidays in game, at least, none that I remember since I started. If they did, I can see OP's complaint, but since they never do, I don't see any reason to be disappointed over something that never happens anyway.

Of course, it would be nice if they did make special sales for specific nation's holidays, but all the other nation's server would complain about "Why did they get this and we didn't". And if everyone enjoyed the same celebration from another country's holiday event/sale, we'd have one so often that it would no longer be special anyway.

As I recall there were some US specific items for sale on Independence Day (US flags and shirts, pretty much only US-specific things that ROM has in its database). So, there are *some* national holiday specific events. But Labor Day? Labor Day is a joke of a holiday.

Well, mothers have Mother's Day to celebrate the joys of motherhood, so why not also give them Labor Day to remember the excruciating pain of childbirth?

nice try guys but i wont go into detail as to what my country does for the world,its not a football team we are best known for our HOCKEY teams.the point is most countries have a flag in this game but i do not.we all know Canada is not known for our soccer teams!
now for you Ziav............we also know that my country is not ill as you say we have health care for all Citizens of our country.
