Official Patch Notes 6.0.2

Quoted from "Patchnotes 6.0.2"

6.0.2 Patch Notes
New zone: Sarlo

Syrbal Pass now leads to Sarlo, a volcanic highland of wild forests, boiling waters and flaming wastelands.
Many new quests tell the story of the human king and his attempt to rescue Bankelemos the Light Dragon. Together you will face the threats from Maderoth and Belathis Fortress.

Raid dungeon: Belathis Fortress

Enter Maderoth's fortress and join the forces of light in their struggle against infernal machines, ancient insectoids and fearsome dragons.
Belathis Fortress is a 12 player dungeon with 5 boss encounters.
It is available in easy, normal and hard difficulty.
Collect ancient mementos and get powerful rewards in return.

Adjustments to Siege War recruitment

Guilds which have already been paired up successfully cannot recruit guild members during "Preparation" and "Start" stages, like it used to be for everyone.
New: Guilds which have not registered or organized a Siege War yet, or for which the pairing has been cancelled, will now be able to recruit guild members during "Preparation" and "Start" stages.

New event instance: Lyliya's Magic House

Try to memorize Lyliya's decorations and get a variety of rewards, including new styles for your own furniture.
You can give it a try once a day for 30 Phirius Token Coins.

New Dwarven item set skills.
Siege War Optimizations.

Quoted from "Translation of Dwarven Item Set Skills by SaitoHajime"

Here's my take at a translation. I skipped the rpgish text and went straight after the values whenever possible.
Disclaimer: The actual skill names are probably not accurate as i do neither have the ID of the skills nor the actual english names at hand. It should still be helpful, though. The patch is not far away either way.

Yay finally. -Hopefully- this will reduce the amount of guild hopping people do. I doubt it, but it might.

"New event instance: Lyliya's Magic House"

Fun! Where is this event instance located?

"Siege War Optimizations."

Does this include the fix for Crystal Towers? Gates randomly glitching and letting people through?

Ugh, GF and Runewaker are getting lazy. Waiting what...10 weeks for a new patch only to be presented with this vague list of "patch notes"? I seriously hope there is a large list of undocumented changes or a lot of people will lose even more faith in the direction of this game at an alarming rate.

My comments:

1) Not a lot of details. I guess the new zones never get that much detail, but they tend to be bundled with bunch of other patches and changes. If nothing else, we are due for another festival.

2) Belathis comes in hard mode? Hmmmm... previously things were interleaved in respect to hard modes. RT - hard mode(s), KT - none, GC - hard mode, SC - none, TOSH - hard mode, AC - none, KBN - hard mode, Bedim - none, Beth - hard mode... so I expected Belathis to have none. Weird, especially considering that it is 5-boss run.

3) Guild recruitment is welcome change, but that is not the main problem with siege. How about moving freaking time to where it freaking supposed to be. Fairly trivial change, far more important than recruitment issue, annoying thought it might be.

4) New mini-games sounds meh to me. Memorize decorations? One of those "repeat pattern" games? Don't like them, if so. And hope the rewards are more than furniture styles. Obviously reserving judgement till I see it, but...

5) Dwarven ISS is about time. Well, actually, not, but better late than never. If any good, might get people to run older instances.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

WOHHHHOOOOOOO ITEM SET SKILLS!

5

Monday, September 9th 2013, 6:15pm

I am assuming level max increase to 82... but it didn't say it. Or is this more like an AV addition to Savage lands back in the day. Would welcome either one, just kinda wondering. They are usually more than happy to put up the level increase... but I not seeing it.

Edit: Actually the Australian one also has it and it's called the Colorweave festival. Enjoy!

Personally, I never thought the lack of Champion or Warlock set skills was that big a deal. The skills they get are set up differently anyways. I doubt seriously any set skill given will be game changing, but...who knows, I guess we will find out.

The bigger question is..are there new stats?
Govinda P/W/K/M 100x4 :pump:
Wl/R/M/Ch 100x4 :borg:
Wd/W/S 100/100/100
W/M 100/100 Glass Cannon: oh gawd, not again :pinch: ... and numerous others Semi-retired :pillepalle:

12 man instance, but looks like no upgrade for mages... again

My guildies linked a few new mage staves in Item preview, and so far - they look totally lame for a 12 man Hardmode. Haven't seen any staves that are an upgrade from Hoson Spine. So, how does the other class' weapon upgrade look so far? Would be depressing if mages, for the third 12 man instance in a row, got no respectable weapon upgrade while every other class does.

Also, anyone find it a bit funny that

ThePit's interview: Gameforge has already send huge amounts of bug reports to Runewaker, and Runewaker is just starting to get used to being overwhelmed by all the bug they have to fix.

Runewaker: Sends us a patch with 0 bug fixes (at least, none mentioned on patch notes).

They look about right actually. I think this is our equivalent of a 6 man instances they are just adding a hard mode to it. There is still only 5 bosses so don't expect great new stuff till the lv 85 cap. But if you want to see some awesome mage 82 gear check out the pants from that instance.

I assume you are talking about the staff. That is really the only thing a mage has to complain about from syble pass. Beth HM made mages Gods over physical classes so I would not complain.

ohhh duh *smack head*

Still don't see why they didn't say a level increase... The instance I am sure is 82, which would mean higher stats, it should also mean a level increase.

New Zone = new quests and almost always a lvl cap increase. It would be safe to assume a lvl cap increase.

Probably correct, as they will include not so helpful L80-L90 XP/TP encyclopedias. (part that they did not translate from original news in German)

Quoted

• Level 81-90 EP/TP Enzyklopädien

I don't remember every seeing those.... I knew about weapon skill encyclopedias... is this something new?

They are not mentioning level increase, but those are just pre-patch notes. That might get later in there...

that is what I was guessing, only reason I wonder is the lack of announcement of it, or how high it will be raised. There was one time, AV that it wasn't raised, but new quests were added and two new instances and a new world boss. It would be nice if it was the same type of situation for peoples secondary classes, however, if the quests are all like level 77+ that wont help many.

I was kinda hoping it would be a new zone like CoO, which a lot have been asking for, and I think would be a good idea.

However, I never say no to new stats, and higher level max either.
