NO Storytelling Festival

Mika's Notes- I am guess you are skipping the storytelling festival. I know my suggestion wont change your mind but many many of us magic users would love to have that festival more than any of the other 3.
What closest future – current year – should bring us?

In our and Runewaker plans we have, this year, following updates:

patch 6.0.3 with "Pumpkin Festival“ and a brand new "Guild Castle Skin“
patch 6.0.4 with "Juice Festival“,
patch 6.0.5 with "Snowflake Festival“ and brand new zones!

Agreed. I doubt they can change it, those things are planned in advance. But storyteller is one of the more popular festivals, even with those who already got the titles. And mages in particular have hard enough time with mage title* that it would make sense to repeat it and give them another chance.

If it was possible to change, I would junk Juice festival. It is pretty meh as festivals go. Much rather see all the horrible, horrible, really bad, no good, borderline tasteless jokes involving "innocent girl" and "little boy" buffs.

* Ah, good times... rolling 50+ alts and running them to Varanas looking for that "Brotherhood" or the last "Headless Knight". Fun!
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

No mention of regular GM's appearing in Game, nor mention of the communities complaints about the Item shop being addressed. while I look at Mica post as a possible positive. I wish they would have chosen to use the "Diary" as a weekly format. One of the player bases primary concerns being feedback. This could have been a good way to address it. I'm sad ill not get the titles from the Story tellers festival, but I'm hopeful they might include mage worthy titles in the new festivals "I am a mage BTW"

things Mica could possible put in the Diary
you could state the issues being brought to the developers that week" without giving to much specifics"
you could address the players concerns" I.E. have an ask Mica section where you actually respond to a question from a player
Discuss the queue for tickets and how they are managed "Good job getting that queue down from weeks to days BTW'

ect ect

point being it could be a huge moral tool for the folks at GF, I hope they choose to use it that way

New zones have always come at (almost) 3-month gaps within the chapters and now that we're into 6.0 there's no change. 3 months on from September gives us December.

You don't say? I'm aware how to count. I just remember time frames for updates being longer than 3 months before Gameforge took over, and for some players its just to fast to be able to regear and such. Sure you want to keep the endgame base of players happy with new content but c'mon -.-

Someone is very smart at GameForge -

This is simple formula how to double profits without rising prices of IS - simply make content larger every 3 months instead of every 6 we had before.

I can see just more unhappy folks... with L90 upgrades being more expensive and more problematic... (fails, negative plussing and other RoM charms...)

This will keep 4-5% of players happy... and rest will just get tired at some point...

Well done!

well in a good way, at least they are giving us a nice long warning ahead of times when the next patch are up with new content and level cap, and along with it many new bugs...

while the old bugs are not fixed

from diary mika

"What else happened recently?

Last month we’ve given you new board and new games rules. Some things are the same, some things were changed. Support – with serious help of those who used and use report tool – banned serious amount of botters and goldsellers; they’ve also helped, with help of other departments, about 900 users in broken questline. Everything to make your gaming and MMO community experience better!

guess i wasn't one of the lucky 900 users, "does that 900 users number include the whole rom or just US rom version?"

cause support only sent me and short response saying keep an eye on the forums for a fix... Secret of a deceit bugged..

new content new bugs, while old content is ignored...

well guess we can hold off on the gear upgrade since in another 3 months, new stats new gear, in someways is a good thing...

If that's the case i'll prolly still be in my level 70 gear on my mage kicking butt :) Killing level 82's with my 72 mage, is fun, but being able to hit players and not be able to hit traps/gaurds, priceless.

It's been this way since chapter 3. Chapter 2 was intended to follow a 3-month plan but it didn't quite work out since Aotulia Volcano was delayed.

Lets do little math.

1) TH
2) SJF
3) NJF
4) LIMO
5) LOM*
6) Redhill
7) TB
8 ) AKOR
9) Chrysalia
10) Tundra
11) Syrbal Pass
12) Sarlo

12 zones, spaced on average over 3 months each = 36 months = 3 years. Did TH came out about 3 years ago? Sounds right to me.

* Yes, I am aware that LOM/Redhill came out at once, after longer delay than 3 months. We are talking average.

Oh my I did not think of this. That is the best idea I have heard in a long long long time. Mika If you read these posts, I highly suggest this be sent up the chain. You make money and we get the titles that we really need but don't have a chance to earn. Also someone give Bleeding Black 50 million gold for this amazing idea

17

Wednesday, September 18th 2013, 10:59pm

That would involve the item shop & sales staff and you know how much luck we have had with them in the past

18

Thursday, September 19th 2013, 12:51am

even if not token shop, but even diamond/ruby shop. I would be willing to pay diamonds for a few of the titles... assuming they aren't ridiculously priced.

GF takes this as 1000 ruby cost per title and 700 diamonds for other ones. .... LOL.

just wait, if they listen it will have a ridiculous price and some of us will pay it.

Edit to add though: Now that a lot of us know when the good gear will be out (since level 82 gear is a joke), how many of us will just get our T stones ready, collect some of the highest stats that are out now, stockpile mems/proofs/shells on characters and just wait for the next level raise. Yeah announce when gear will become outdated.... Great way to just cut a good amount of your profits......

I agree they cant even fix what they already have . Peopla would be happier if they fixed crap instead of giving us new stuff.

What did you expect? We had an event from June 'till almost September, ofc they need to skip some event/s now.
Just have some damn fun! That's why we play games right?
